Use of Outdoor Activities in Teaching General Educational Subjects at Elementary Scholls (aplicated for English language)

Title: Use of outdoor activities in teaching general educational subjects at elementary schools, specialized for English. Goal: The goal is to create a textbook of games and activities available for teaching English at elementary schools. Part of the purpose is also the inclusion ofthe games in English lessons at schools, observation of propriety and process of the activities, and the children's reactions to the games in the natural environment. Methods: Research was divided into two parts. The first part was to collect facts from literature and select suitable games and activities in nature. We tested and played those games in the second part of the research. We examined the usability and propriety ofthe games and the children's reactions to them. The main method we used for data collecting was a questionnaire for teachers. The cooperating teachers had incorporated the games into their English lessons for two months. Then they summarized their opinions and thoughts in the prepared questionnaire, the results ofwhich are evaluated and presented. As a part of the data collecting we also used an informational probe for children.
