Does an in-patient consider himself adequately informed about his treatment process

This bachelor thesis deals with the awareness of hospitalized patients. In particular, it focuses on the experiences, feelings and subsequently the behavior of patients that is directly related to the awareness. The theoretical part approaches the fundamental ideas such as hospitalization, a geriatric and a carcinology patient, awareness. The practical part presents results of both quest and interviews that were realized in the secondary care ward at University Hospital in Hradec Kralove. The aim of the thesis was to determine whether it is the necessity satisfied to get information in hospitalized patients, and what attitude patients to this question have.
