Effect of pH of mixing water on hydration and mechanical properties of cement composites.
Bezděk, Ondřej ; Krátký, Josef (referee) ; Šiler, Pavel (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on the effect of mixing water pH value on hydration and mechanical properties of cement composites based on portland cement. Source material was CEM I 42,5 R. Hydration process was analyzed by isoperibolic calorimetry, X-ray diffraction analysis and differential thermal analysis. Compressive and flexural strength was examined as mechanical properties. The samples microstructure was observed by scanning electron microscopy. Influence of mixing water pH value on flexural and compressive strength, retardation of hydration and ratio of individual phases was shown.
The influence of aggregate on the properties of high performance concrete.
Bezděk, Ondřej ; Krátký, Josef (referee) ; Šiler, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the influence of aggregates on the mechanical properties of high-performance concrete. The flexural strenght and the compressive strenght were observed after 1, 7 and 28 days. The process of hydratation was monitored using isoperibolic calorimetry. Laser particle size analysis of aggregates was also performed. As materials were used: Portland cement CEM I 42,5 R-Sc Mokrá, finelly ground silica sand, calcinated bauxite, fine test sand ČSN EN 196-1, medium test sand ČSN EN 196-1, rough test sand ČSN EN 196-1 and polycarboxylate superplasticizer Glenium Ace 40.
Ecotheology and ecological practice in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church
Bezděk, Ondřej ; Vogel, Jiří (advisor) ; Vik, Dalibor (referee)
In my Thesis called Ecotheology and Ecological Practice in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church I tried to deal with both theoretical and practical issues regarding care for creation. First I mentioned terminology which is in Czech language, not really well grounded and terms such as ecology, care for creation, ecological theology and ecotheology can be basicly understood as interchangable. Next part was dedicated to overwiew of ecological theory and pracitice published in our church magazine called Český zápas during period 1999-2018. Surprisingly it is full of interresting material. Next part was about ecological practices of our parishes and about projects dealing with ecocertification. So far there is quite few parishes that are "green" but the situation has potential to improve. Eventually I decided to promote a new body that will deal with "green" issues in our church and might be helpful to many parishes when reaching eco certificate.
