This thesis is focused on design and implementation of procedural generator of galaxy for games or simulations. Second goal is implementation of demonstration application which is showing possible usage of generator. Generator is able to create galaxy by predefined types or by user created map.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the acceleration of rendering algorithm pathtracing. Thesis's goal is demonstration and performance comparison between implementation on CPU and GPU. Both implementations will be discussed and compared between themselves. Furthermore, will be describe possibilities of extending existing application.

Russian Germans in the Nineties of 20. Century. Stay or Leave

The aim of this diploma thesis is to introduce the biggest German minority living within the East Europe: so called "Russlanddeutsche". I tried to find an answer to the question why Germans living in Russia tend to return back to Germany. Germans have been setteling in Russia since 1763 when new colonists were invited by Catherine the Great. By the end of the 19th century there were about 1.8 milion of Germans living in Russia. Výzkum a implementace nových nástrojů pro předpovědi povodní a odtoku v rámci zabezpečení hlásné a předpovědní povodňové služby v ČR: Vyhodnocení využitelnosti výstupů pravděpodobnostních předpovědí ve vodohospodářské praxi. DÚ 3

Z informací o výšce sněhové přikrývky, o objemu vody ve sněhu akumulované, plošném rozložení zásob na povodí a o celkovém stavu sněhové přikrývky lze usoudit, jaký bude přibližně odtok zásob vody ve sněhu na povodí. V závislosti na těchto informacích je nutné upravit odtok z nádrží. Pro fungování takového informačního systému je nezbytné mít tyto informace v dostatečné četnosti, potřebném rozsahu a tvaru. Nezbytná je správná interpretace. Byla testována pravidla pro předvypouštění nádrží.
