Deformation measurement of motorcycle components
Augste, Jan ; Novotný, Tomáš (referee) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (advisor)
The task of this diploma thesis is technical solution for deformation measuring of motorcycle components. By reason of the technical discretion, technology of measurement was changed to another, using image processing. Retrieval which describes fundamental principle of method named photogrammetry and the main conditions of measuring. For a practical testing the carbon composite tube of main motorbike fork was used. It was loaded a with a bending moment. Due to measuring technology was changed, so the design of loading bench was change too. In the end of diploma thesis is appreciation of practical experience discovered in writing of this thesis.
Natural patterns in robotics
Juřicová, Vendula ; Augste, Jan (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is focused on the part of the robotics, which is inspired by nature. At first, the reader is introduced into the theory of interdisciplinary terms BIO – ING. The central part is divided in two parts: the inspiration by man and inspiration by animals. In the chapter about man, there are the main biomechanical features introduced as well as the algorithms that are used in the robotics with the human prototype. Some biomechanical constructions and humanoid robots follow. Biomechanical constructions that are inspired by animals dominate the second part. The conclusion includes (among others) a technical and a philosophical reflection on the future of the robotics.
Using virtual reality in design process
Hlavatý, Michal ; Novotný, Tomáš (referee) ; Augste, Jan (advisor)
Master thesis deals with the possibility of using virtual reality in the construction process and points to new possibilities for non-traditional controlling of devices. The aim of this thesis is to become familiar with equipment designed in ÚVSSR and technology using motion capturing. Subsequently, there is also aim to use the gained knowledge to design a software which uses virtual reality in the construction process of parallel kinematic structure delta type, which will have the option of touchless control and will analyze the progress of energy flow of devices.
Design optimization of the industrial part using finite element method and machine learning
Výbohová, Petra ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Augste, Jan (advisor)
The object of research of my master thesis is optimization of 3D print using fused deposition modelling method. The goal of the thesis was to research influence of design parameters and mechanical properties and to come up with way how to research and optimize shapes for 3D print. Thesis is divided into 6 chapters. It contains 80 pictures, 12 tables and 4 attachments. The first part is theoretical research of optimization, finite element method and 3D print method. The second part is about 2 methods of 3D print, risk analysis and optimization.
Rotational moulding machine
Augste, Jan ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The task of this bachelor´s thesis is design of device for rotational moulding. In the task of bachelor´s thesis is uniquely determined, that the device will be use for produce of tank of specific size. By reason of, that is going of technology that is little known, was necessarily firstly design prototype of device for practical check of function and for find of next parameter of device, which is necessary for design of device. In the design of prototype was necessary minimalized charges for its manufacture and use semifinished goods and device available in Blata s.r.o. In the end of bachelor´s thesis is appreciation of practical experience discovered in writing of this bachelor´s thesis.
Use of Virtual Reality Technology for Monitoring and Visualization of Selected Operational Charakteristics of Machines and Their Analysis
Augste, Jan ; Mostýn, Vladimír (referee) ; Szabó, István (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This dissertation deals with the study of the use of virtual technologies for an analysis of operating characteristics of a machine. Operating characteristics of a machine are parameters that determine the usability of the machine to accomplish a certain task in addition to the specified time and under the certain conditions. These include parameters that can be changed based on customer requirements, for example, the table size and the highest spindle speed to the parameters influenced from the start of the machine design such as positioning accuracy, acceleration value in the axes or consumption. The first part sets out general requirements for visualization of information and these are subsequently verified experimentally in the chapter devoted to the time visualization protocol. This thesis presents the original experiments to determine the basic requirements for visualization of a measured quantity, in this case the feed rate. By verifying usability when displaying these properties on the underlying data showing machine position change, the four basic requirements for visual data processing using immerse virtual reality are validated. A deeper insight into the work with data will enable to analyse more complicated relations within a longer period, greater transparency and clearer outputs of analysis.
Suggestion of electric scooter
Lasák, Štěpán ; Augste, Jan (referee) ; Synek, Miloš (advisor)
The goal of this master’s thesis is a construction design of an electric kick bike with the motor builded in the axle of the rear wheel. The thesis consists of theoretical part, which is describing electric kick bikes used today and the possibility of motorization. The next part is a construction design with necessary calculations and formulas.
Conceptual design of gloves for virtual reality
Kožík, Tomáš ; Augste, Jan (referee) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with areas of controlling virtual reality by gloves involving touch sense. This formed control allows the user to better reveal errors in the prototype of construction projects.
