Measurement of the fiber optical transport links
Ambrož, Jan ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Reichert, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the measurement of optical transport links. In particular, the measurement of attenuation, chromatic and polarization mode dispersion. Specic me- asurement systems using a WDM and passive optical networks. Within each chapter are listed the causes and eects restrictive factors and methods of measurement. In chapter Attenuation measurements are described radiation and material loss as the main causes of depression. Methods whitch are described two lengths, insert loss and reectometri. Chromatic dispersion at dierent speeds of various wavelengths limits systems with high transfer rate. Methods of measuring the phase shift, dierential phase shift, pulse time delay and interference. Polarization mode dispersion is a random phenomenon caused double refraction, must be measured after completion of the route. Scanning wavelen- gth, traditional and general interference, reectometri and the polarimetric are methods of measurement. It described the measurement of WDM systems in three stages of its build. In brief PON networks are presented, with the specicities of the measurement over splitter. Most chapters are supplemented by the results and conclusions of practical measurements. At the end of the work are given by the two standards deal with the measurement of optical transport links.
Design, development and measurement of optical access networks
Ambrož, Jan ; Šporik, Jan (referee) ; Tejkal, Vladimír (advisor)
The work deals with the possibilities of realization of optical access networks. They are introduced to FTTx optical access, including their specifications and differences. The document was largely devoted to passive and active optical networks. These two different technological approaches are explained and compared. Are presented technical solutions of routes - traditional options for laying underground or into the air, but also as an alternative microtubing. Mentioned are also the active network technology. The work also included the issue of measurement of optical access networks. They are illuminated important transmission parameters and methods for their measurement. The whole work is directed to the full FTTH network design according to the standard GEPON. In designing the use of theoretical information contained in each chapter. It does the form of technical documentation in accordance with the procedures used in practice, contains drawings, specific technical solutions and a detailed budget price. The design was verified by attenuation of balance. Finally there are the results of simulations of the proposed network in OptiSystem7.
SVG format support for .NET Framework
Ambrož, Jan ; Jákl, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Maršálek, Lukáš (referee)
This thesis describes a Microsoft .NET class library which gives any graphics application the ability to create, process, load and save vector graphics data in the SVG format, specifically the subset of the SVG format for static vector graphics. Another part of this thesis describes an extension (also in the form of Microsoft .NET class library) which allows creation of graphics applications for presentation of graphics data represented in the SVG format using GDI+ and XAML. The commercial use of the resources developed is being prepared.

Content strategy: preparation and designing web content for the organization
Ambrož, Jan ; Střížová, Vlasta (advisor) ; Javůrek, Adam (referee)
The work deals with the content strategy, methods and techniques how to prepare, design and create web content according to established goals. The theoretical part defines role of the content strategy, introduces methods, content life cycle and potential benefits and outputs of the content strategy in its phases: preparation, analysis, creation, evaluation and content management. Work also discussed the interaction with other fields of web design and legal limits, which affect online content in the Czech Republic. The main objective of this diploma thesis is to design new web content strategy for organization. After describing the initial situation and goals, mentioned methods are used to the systematic management of web content. Thanks to the results of this content strategy (target group definition, competitive content analysis, existing content inventory, keyword analysis, information architecture, style guide, content plan, content model, creation process and content management), readers get the guidance, which can inspire them in their practice.
