The utilisation of the Silk Road in the Kazakhstan’s current tourism industry

The bachelor thesis deals with the utilisation of the Silk Road in the Kazakhstan's current tourism industry. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the Silk Road's significance and its influence on the Kazakhstan's tourism, to make recommendations. The first chapter is dedicated to the tourism definitions and the introduction to stibology. The second chapter informs about the Silk Road and the program operated by the UNWTO. The third chapter contains information about Kazakhstan and the country's tourism industry. The next chapter deals with the current management of the Silk Road in Kazakhstan. The last chapter comprises the offer of Kazakhstan in the Czech travel agencies, the survey's results, SWOT analysis of the Kazakhstan's tourism industry and the suggested recommendations.
