Žemličková, Lenka ; Probstová, Václava (advisor) ; Kodymová, Pavla (referee)
How to educate social workers to work with people suffering from mental illness? Training of social workers in the field of psychiatry, which would allow not only the planning of their development, but also sets out the knowledge, skills necessary to perform their work, we lack. Orfee of educational programs for social workers is wide, but only a small number of them are specifically targeted at working with people with mental illness. Targeted courses are offered more erratically and are not forming a comprehensive concept of education. In his thesis, I deal with mapping the educational needs of social workers who work with the target group of people with mental illness. I focused on a comparison of the two areas that provide psychiatric care, specifically the institutional care provider (Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital) and community facilities (os Eset - Help, os Green Doors, Bona ops, Fokus Praha os). I examined what are the requirements placed on the training of social workers working in these establishments, whether they feel the need of further training and whether are their educational needs met.
