Žaludová, Kristýna ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor)
The topic of my thesis was to design a sports and recreational complex in Komárov. Its main landmark is a cycling Stadium. This building will fulfill the functions of a modern Stadium in all of the required factors. Its capacity will be for 3 000 spectators. The stadium belongs to the category of buildings, where form follows function, which in this case is primarily to allow high-quality views of the playing surface for the large number of spectators. Specifies the appearance of the stadium facade with a regular deployment transparent concrete columns, which allows around to see what is happening in the stadium and at the same time provides interesting views.
The mourning ceremony Hall Lisen
Žaludová, Kristýna ; Hrabec, Josef (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
The new building of the Mourning Hall Lisen is located on a slightly sloping plot in the Brno-Lisen district. The concept of the plot’s layout fluently connects to the operation of the current cemetery. The unbuilt part will serve as the new cemetery with areas for standard burying to the ground, columbaria, a scattering garden, but also areas for non-traditional burying such as Bios Urn (after cremation, the ashes are placed into a special urn with a tree seed, which is put in the ground – the life of the deceased one thus symbolically continues in the plant). The tree motif pervades the whole building: it is present on the foregrounded façade through perforated aluminium panels, and it is used on the rounded wall in the interior entrance hall, on the door decoration and on subtle interior elements. The whole building is designed as a convergence of three masses. The operation part (technical facilities, employees’ facilities and survivors’ facilities) has an L-shaped ground plan and is the lowest mass of the object; the ceremonial hall is comprised of an exceeded block. The catafalque is emphasized by a glass-topped tube in the north-western part of the hall.
Environmental taxation, state of art and perspectives of use
ŽALUDOVÁ, Kristýna
This master thesis examines the development of environmental taxation in the Czech Republic, which is compared with Denmark and EU countries. Given the topicality of the topic of climate change, many questions arise regarding sustainability and the correct setting of tax systems. The main objective of the thesis is to evaluate the extent of the current setting of environmental taxation and its future use as a tool for the transition of the economy to climate neutrality in the Czech Republic. The conclusions of this objective were reached through a systematic examination of environmental tax and fee data. The thesis shows that the Czech Republic has been successful in its efforts to reduce emissions and reduce the energy intensity of industry, despite this reduction it is still above the European Union average. It is therefore necessary to continue reducing both energy intensity and emissions. These problems stem mainly from the energy intensity of industry. Compared to Denmark, the Czech Republic places minimal emphasis on the burden of environmental taxes on households, even compared to other EU countries.
Income Tax from an employment aktivity for a selected group of taxpayers
ŽALUDOVÁ, Kristýna
The thesis deals with the issue of tax burden for selected subjects. As a general rule, every working person pays a tax from their incomes. For every taxpayer applies the same amount of income taxation. In the Czech Republic it is called the nominal tax rate and presents 15%. Despite this fact, each income has their own real tax rate. This happens due to tax advantages, rebates and state contributions, which is individual for each taxpayer. The thesis introduces the definition of taxes, tax system in the Czech Republic and mainly is focused on personal taxes. Subsequently, the thesis handles with calculating nominal and real tax on chosen subjects. Using a data analysis of the taxpayer, their real tax rate was determined and then compared with the nominal one. The conclusion evaluates the impact of the tax burden on taxpayers.
