Master thesis Media education and literacy of future teachers of health education at the Fakulty of Education of Charles University deals with the issue of their readiness to teach this area in schools. The aim of the thesis was to find out to what extent students of the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Health Education are ready to implement media education in schools. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the theoretical definition of media education and literacy and related terminology. Furthermore, I have included in my work the historical development and gradual inclusion of this issue in Czech curriculum documents. In the practical part, using quantitative and qualitative methods, research was conducted with the participation of 34 selected students, which focused on the readiness of future teachers to teach media education in schools. The data arising from the questionnaire survey were graphically processed and commented. Furthermore, the views of four respondents on the issue of teaching on this topic are part of my thesis. Film and audiovisual production on basic school as a way of class socialization and prevention of socially pathological phenomena in the classroom
Šuslík, Marcel ; Syřiště, Ivo (advisor) ; Mojžíšová, Jarmila (referee)
Main theme of my dissertation is a use of movie making among secondary school children to support class climate and also to prevent some specific social pathological events. Dissertation closely relates to my previous Bc. dissertation which is summed up at the beginning. Then based on literature review I discuss class climate in general, its basic elements and ways in which can teacher positively influence it. In the section about a prevention of negative social pathological events I was focused on those imminently related to class environment. Then I analysed methodology of consecutive movie making and suitable methods of research of class climate benefits. The focal point of my dissertation is however a participant observation of school movie making which was created as a part of Antifetfest contest. The movie making was observed from an initial topic formulation to a school opening. An analysis of my observation was connected to sociometric measurement which was done before and after the movie making. In an effort to state if the movie making is a suitable secondary school method was the whole analysis joined with opinions of my colleagues and students.
Making movies in elementary school
Šuslík, Marcel ; Syřiště, Ivo (advisor) ; Mojžíšová, Jarmila (referee)
The theme of this work is the creation of films in elementary school and its place in the teaching process. I have examined the conditions under which this activity benefits both in terms of the development of key competencies and primary prevention. I assessed the availability of information on this topic. I performed in this respect RVP analysis, exploration of topics that handle some basic school and festival platforms, with more room for Antifetfest. Based on my own experience and observation, interviews and questionnaires, I developed a practical point shooting class project. I stated that making films as a class project is beneficial both in terms of prevention of risk behaviors and the development of a number of key competencies. Last but not least, enriching forms of work with students. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
