Heat exchanger using structured material

The aim of this work was to develop and describe a design method of a heat exchanger using Triply Periodic Minimal Surfaces (TPMS) structures and to validate it by design, fabrication, and experimental testing of a working sample. It is an oil-water cooler fabricated additively by Laser Powder Bed Fusion on an SLM 280 HL machine from AlSi10Mg material. After a series of analyses and tests, a cubic diamond structure with a minimum wall thickness of 0.7 mm and a range of relative densities of 15 to 25 % (cell edge length 11.1÷18.5 mm) was chosen for the developed method. The method also includes a prediction script of the performance of the proposed heat exchanger, which was created from data measured during testing of samples with different cells configurations. The method itself guides the user step-by-step from the selection of input requirements, through the estimation of performance, to the two-step parametric modelling of the TPMS exchanger itself (explicit and implicit). The functional sample created using this method achieved heat flows of 315,25 W, which is 4.2 % higher than the reference plate exchanger. The TPMS exchanger also has a 78 % smaller heat transfer body and 62 % less total mass. The differences between predicted and actual heat flows were up to 18%. In its current state, the method is suitable for the design of TPMS heat exchangers with heat flow of 50 to 230 W. However, it is generally versatile and can also be used to map other areas, thus making it more accurate.
Topology optimization of a quadcopter arm using 3D print

This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of manufacturing constraints applied during topology optimization of a demonstration component, which was a quadcopter arm. Four designed arms were optimized, each with different manufacturing constraints: Extrusion, Single draw, Split draw, Overhang and one arm only with symmetry plane, without any other manufacturing constraint. For all designs, it was important to maintain a continuous geometry during optimization and that final weight approximately equals to the weight of the original arm. All five arms were then subjected to static structural analysis with the finite element method. After that, arms were printed using Fused deposition modelling (FDM) from ABS material and then tested by static force. The photogrammetry method was used to evaluate deformation. Results of the experiment were recalculated to relative stiffness, where small differences between weights were considered. Relative stiffnesses of designed arms were then compared, showing that 4 out of 5 topology optimized arms have higher stiffness than the original shape. The toughest design is without manufacturing constraints which at the same weight has 12.5 times higher relative stiffness than the original arm.
SW model of PLC controlled crossing

The objective of this thesis is to create a software model to control various types of crossroads using programmable logic controller. The control system is created on Siemens PLC SIMATIC S7-300. The programmes of system are written in different programming languages such as GRAPH, STL, LAD. The visualisation is also created to control by using of SCADA system InTouch from the company Wonderware. The visualisation comunicates with the PLC using a DAServer. The visualisation has both, input and output elements, so it is not intended for supervising the run of the control system only, but also for simple user‘s control, using a graphical user interface. It is possible to control the start and stop events of the system, and to switch between different crossroad's control modes and also to trigger the pedestrian's button.
Control of manipulator model

The task was to study the physical model of the coordinate manipulator. It is controlled by two stepping motors by Schneider Electric and Beckhoff¨s industrial IPC. Then get to know the TwinCAT control software communicating on the EtherCAT network. Then revive the model and create a task to illustrate the functionality of the model with a simple ON / OFF third axis, as well as revive the industrial camera. Then create your own design of a full-fledged third axis and let it be realized. Finally, create an illustration application with the full-fledged third axis manipulator.
Using Softcomputing Techniques for User Behavior Prediction and Analysis

This Bachelor's thesis studies the possibilities of employee's behavior prediction and analysis. It uses softcomputing techniques, two types of neural networks - Multi-layer feedforward neural network with the Backpropagation algorithm, and Kohonen selforganizing map. The experiments performed on real activity records of employees are included. Part of the thesis is focused on activity records data and their characteristics. As a conclusion some basic information about the pros and cons of neural networks' use in the field of employee behavior prediction and analysis is given.

Autodestructive behavior in childhood and adolescency

The theme of my work is self-destructive behavior in children and adolescents. Fascinating and frightening manifestation of human aggression, the object its violence is an individual himself. It is a phenomenon with a wide expressions that can be found both in different categories of mental disorders, as well as in the form of socially tolerated. Sometimes it is difficult to find the boundary between autodestruktivním pathological behavior and the fact that the cultural and religious character. This work focuses on abnormal manifestations autodestruktivního behavior. There are a number of approaches, which is we can seize. Some take into account the motivation level of other physical damage or method of execution. The autodestruktivitu can also be seen positions from different disciplines. Not only psychiatry, but also philosophy, sociology and especially psychology provides us with tools for deeper understanding.
