Mobile data collection of CPI (Consumer Price Index) and its potential for future development.

My bachelor work focuses on the issue of collecting statistical data used for computing the consumer price index (CPI). The theoretical part deals with explaining concepts related to the purpose of the index, a mechanism for data collection and monitoring. The practical part describes the process leading to the introduction of mobile data collection technology, its development and estimates the consequences of introducing new technology into practice with a focus on the user. Questionnaire survey among interviewers revealed satisfaction with the software solution. Additional poll verified indicated problems with their workload. Evaluation of the results of the suvey and analysis of time records led to the proposal of organizational measures and implementation of technological elements leading to improving the quality of data collected, increasing the efficiency and user experience.
Cloud computing in the sector of Small and Medium Enterprises

This bachelor thesis focuses on the ubiquitous trend of cloud computing and its application in the environment of small and medium-sized businesses. The purpose of this thesis is to characterize the basic properties of the cloud computing concept and to propose a specific feasible solution for a selected company from this sector. The thesis describes the general term of cloud computing, its architecture and division according to individual characteristics. In addition, the thesis defines the benefits and limitations related to application of the given technology. The practical part is dedicated to analysis of the existing state of IT infrastructure of companies and to proposed feasible solutions meeting company requirements. The TCO method, recognized for its high efficiency in assessments of IT projects, is used to calculate the costs of implementation of each of the possible solutions. The acquired data are used to compare these solutions, leading to a recommendation as to whether the cloud technology is an optimal solution or not. The main benefit of the thesis is the comprehensible elaboration of the issue of small and medium-sized businesses shifting from the traditional network infrastructure to cloud solutions.
The importance of ICT for the management of household budgets

This thesis deals with the importance of ICT in the management of household budgets. At first are presented the objectives and the selected methods in the two main areas of work. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts, such as finance, money, income and expenditure, financial management, remuneration and budgeting process. The next section presents the basic forms of home finance management and describes chosen applications. Introduction of practical part deals with the evaluation of a questionnaire survey which aimed to map the situation of the management of home finance university-educated respondents. By questionnaires is determined the age category of respondents, number of dependents and self-employed persons in the household, the method of recording revenue and expenditure and the subsequent establishment of the budget, then the debt or form of household savings. Results are presented graphically and verbally. The next section contains a description of the software solutions accounting of revenue and expenditure and household budgets created specifically for the purpose of this thesis. In chapter Results and Discussion is presented evidence gathered in the practical part using SWOT analysis and proposed measures to eliminate the two identified threats. The final chapter assesses whether the objectives have been achieved.
Cloud Computing in sector of small and middle companies

This research focuses on the area of cloud computing, an important research area in computer and service sciences. The general aim of this research is to emphasize the business value of cloud computing to the business. The objective of this research is to explore the economic benefits of cloud computing in order to promote its use in the sector of small and middle companies. In order to accomplish the objectives of this research, technologies of cloud computing were studied extensively. This research relies on secondary data sourced from books and academic and business journals on service science and the cloud computing and Cloudonomics concepts. All literature is critically analyzed and finding are passed into my analysis. Subsequently, the insistent cost benefits of cloud computing are identified. The output of this research is a practical recommendation to adopt a cloud computing as cost optional solution. Additionally, encourage IT as a business strategy, which gives the direction for future research in this specific field is suggested.
Portal information system on Meteor platform

This thesis describes development of real-time reactive portal applications build on Meteor platform. The goal of this thesis is to describe different parts of the platform as a whole and to offer best practices to develop such applications. The theoretical part provides information covering Node.js server, MongoDB document database and their specific features. The beginning of the practical part focuses on the application design and its components implementation. The last chapter summarizes the outcome of this thesis and analyses advantages and disadvantages of Meteor platform over more traditional technology stack. The output and the main value is the Opticube application that is being used in retail. Another plus is the fact, that this thesis is the first to cover Meteor platform at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the use of the cloud computing in the sector of small and medium enterprises in the Czech Republic. Theoretical part explores the basic terms, various divisions, and history relative to cloud computing. Also there are main information about virtualization. At the conclusion of the theoretical part there are summarized main advantages and disadvantages of using cloud computing. In the practical part there is analysed the use of cloud computing through a questionnaire survey. In this section there are also evaluated and graphically displayed partial results of the survey.

My master thesis has the main objective to implement into the sector of small and medium sized enterprises a cloud computing solution as required the customer company. Subsidiary targets of my literary part are a definition of small and medium-sized enterprises, explanation of terms corresponding to cloud computing, explaining the very concept of cloud computing and its distribution models, analysis of cloud services and what is involved in the transition to a cloud environment for companies, including migration contract. The first part summarizes information on cloud computing. The second part provides specific implementation of a cloud computing solutions into corporate environments based on empirical research and requirements of the company.
Analysis of the process of decentralized procurement of goods and services by the Department of the Army of the Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the process of decentralized procurement of goods and services by the Department of the Army of the Czech Republic - specifically the 72nd Mechanized Battalion Přáslavice to evaluate the current process of decentralized procurement of goods and services and help to formulate proposals for improving the process of being analyzed at selected department. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part serves as a basis for the practical part and is based on study of appropriate literature, current legislation relating to public procurement and internal documents of the Ministry of Defence. The practical part is an analysis of the decentralized process of acquiring property and services by selected department. The analysis includes a description of all process steps decentralized purchasing through e-marketplace and is prepared on the basis of observation and individual interviews with selected personnel department. Further analysis is complemented by a synthesis all implemented decentralized purchasing department in 2015 and is listed for completeness and concrete example of real procurements executed in 2015. The qualitative research is enhanced by a questionnaire carried out in two selected military units within the Ministry of Defence, 72nd Mechanized Battalion Přáslavice and the Center for Simulation and Training Technology Brno.
Cloud Computing for small and medium large companies

The aim of this document is to describe the main principles of cloud computing, looking back to the past, the definition of different variants of cloud computing, show the issue of security and finally putting economic formulas for price performance, convenience and more in the cloud. Next step is creating of market analysis on the cloud computing model and compare it with own solutions. This is a summary of information about cloud computing, which also has a current market data available in the Czech Republic. Conclusions show off their work intensity calculations together with their main disadvantages.

In the first theoretical part of my Bachelor thesis was processed knowledge from the area of user accounts, its attack and defense. It describes specific types of malware and methods of attack that are used by attackers. Next chapter describes the possibilities of defense against this attacks on account and the principles of safe behaviour on the internet. The second part of Bachelor thesis is practical, in this part is found a trend of most frequent attacks on a selected group of users. These attacks are described for better understanding. Based on that can user easier recognize the situation in which can be victim of an attack. The conclusion of practical part deals with security and other appropriate solutions to minimize the risks of attacks on user accounts.
