Needs of families in the shelter and possibilities of social work with family

The master thesis "Needs of families in the shelter and possibilities of social work with family" is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part consists of six chapters which answer the basic questions of the issue. Specifically, it defines the term homelessness, its types and causes. The next chapter is devoted to the concept of family, its function and manifestation in postmodern society. The following chapter explains family cohabitation disorders, in particular family with a substance abusing member, incomplete family, family abusing and neglecting their children, family at risk of domestic violence, family with a sentenced member, family with a mentally ill adult member, family with a problematic child, family with a disabled child, and family with multiple issues. Description of shelter (especially shelter for families with children), its legal definition, and shelter network in the Czech Republic is another integral component of the theoretical part. The theoretical part is concluded with description of possibilities of social work with family in a shelter. The empirical part contains results of interviews and focus groups. of the thesis Introduction: The topic of those who have been victims of human trafficking and who are also addicted to drugs is something not yet deeply investigated. The prevetion, intervention and social services for those who are both drug addicts and victims of human trafficking should be based on good knowledge of the situation each of thier particular needs. Helping organizations for this population of people report that from thier expereinces, this is a situation that continues to become more problematic. It is important to be aware of these situations in order to improve them. Victims of human trafficking who also struggle with drug addiction is a situation that deals with many types of needs. It is important to understand each of those comprehensively to fully help the people to return to a social life. Claim: The aim of this work is to describe the various barriers that people face when looking to access addiction rehabilitation centers. This work is from the point-of-view of the victims of human trafficking as well as from the professionals who work with those victims. The bachelor thesis " Support options and family therapy system for families with domestic violence " is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains eight chapters, in which the basic questions corresponding to this subject are answered. First, it defines domestic violence, while listing its characteristics, causes, forms, and phases. At the same time, it outlines the legal aspects. Further, it discusses the characteristics of victims of domestic violence and the possibilities to help them. It also deals with how to work with victims, which includes a security plan. The theoretical part then lists the institutions that provide assistance to victims of domestic violence. It also identifies the perpetrators of domestic violence the techniques for their recognition, their classification and a definition of how to work with a violent person. The theoretical part also includes a description of the impact of domestic violence on the family system. Hodnocení rozvojového potenciálu brownfields na území Kraje Vysočina

The thesis is focused on the evaluation of the development potential of brownfields in the Vysočina Region. The evaluation is based on the method od prioritization. The first part contains the theoretical foundations of brownfields and a list of methods that deal with the evaluation of the development potential. The seconf part is focused on analyzing the situation of brownfields of the study area. In the third part the summary indicator is made, which is composed of two dimensions, the potential development of municipalities in whose territory the brownfields and the potential development of brownfield sites. Results of the work are shown in the cartogram. The results are specific recommendations that brownfields should be regenerated primarily in the investigated area.
