Možnosti využití odrůdové odolnosti bramboru a botanických insekticidů pro regulaci mandelinky bramborové (Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say) v ekologickém zemědělství.
ŠAŠKOVÁ, Jana
This diploma thesis deals with the influence of potato variety on the feeding behavior of Leptinotarsa decemlineata, the effectiveness of botanical insecticides on this pest and the possibility of using a combination of low doses of these products and varietal resistance of potatoes for pest control in organic farming. The aim was to find out whether the adult potato beetle prefers a certain variety and whether this food preference correlates with the content of glycoalkaloids. Furthermore, the effect of three selected preparations at concentrations of 0.1 %, 1 %, 10 % and 100 % of the recommended dose on the mortality of L. decemlineata adults was evaluated by toxicological tests and the values of lethal concentrations LC50 and LC90 were calculated. In further experiments, the synergistic effect of the variety on mandelin mortality after treatment with low concentrations of selected insecticides was investigated. It was found that of the three tested varieties, mandelinka preferred the Velur variety, then the Jindra variety and, lastly, the Dominika variety. The most preferred variety had a statistically higher solanine content compared to the remaining varieties. All three tested natural insecticides caused the death of the treated mandelins. The mean lethal concentration (LC50) was highest for NeemAzal, followed by Spintor and Rock Effect. The results of experiments combining low doses of insecticides and potato varieties did not show statistically significant differences in mortality between the more and less preferred varieties.
Draft concept of further education for non-medical healthcare professionals
Šašková, Jana ; Veteška, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Tureckiová, Michaela (referee)
The main goal of this work is to create an idea of how an educational system for non-physician healthcare professionals in the departments of anestesiology, resuscitation, and intensive care should look like with regards to interpreting and evaluating ECG curves that would lead to a better knowledge of understanding ECG curves. This certain idea of an educational system should be another option on how to educate healthcare professionals, thus improving their competence. The theoretical part of this work compares the educational system of healthcare professionals in the Czech Republic to other foreign countries and the competence of non-physician healthcare professionals working mostly in intensive care in hospitals. It also introduces and explains the basics on how to record an ECG curve that competent workers should be able to read and interpret correctly. The empiric part is based on the quantitative method of making a survey, in which the respondents are non-physician healthcare workers working in anestesiology, resuscitation, and intensive care in Czech hospitals. The survey study focuses not just on finding out the knowledge of ECG in non-physician healthcare professionals in anestesiology, resuscitaiton, and intensive care, but also whether it's necessary to teach them more about ECG. Ověření účinku biopreparátu na bázi entomopatogenní houby Isaria fumosorosea na mandelinku bramborovou (Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say) v ekologickém a konvenčním zemědělství.
ŠAŠKOVÁ, Jana
The aim of the work was to verify the efficacy of the biopesticide based on entomopathogenic fungus Isaria fumosorosea (WIZE) Brown & Smith against Colorado potato beetle, Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say). A small-scale experiment with three varieties of potatoes was carried out on selected site. In addition to monitoring of the effect of the fungus application on the occurrence of the pest and plant damage, yield of cultivated varieties was evaluated at the end of the experiment. The results are presented in the form of graphs and enclosed tables.
Burn-out syndrome in thepre-hospital and hospital care forparamedicalpersonnel
ŠAŠKOVÁ, Jana
The "burn out "syndrom is the state of a physical, emotional and psychical exhaustion. There is a relatively big danger of the "burn out"syndrom emergence by the paramedics and that is why there should be given a big stress to its prevention. The aim of this bachelor´s work was to find out if there is a bigger "burn out" syndrom by the paramedics than by hospital paramedics. The next aim was to find out the influence of the practice´ lenght and of the workfalling in to the psychical point of view to the paramedics. It was used the investigation of quantity through the standartised quostionnaire to find out the "burn out" level. We created a quostionnaire that contained 11 questions to find out if the paramedics have the prevention against the "burn out" syndrom. The standartised questonnaire MBI was evaluated in the area of the South Bohemian region through the charts and graphs. It was found that the hospital paramedics are more inclinating to the "burn out" syndrom than the ambulance service paramedics. Followingly the investigation, there is a bigger risk of "burn out" syndrom by paramedics with the longer practice. The most of the paramedics try to prevent the "burn out" syndrom but the prevention didn´t appear to be efficient in comparison to the number of "burn out" paramedics.
