Irena Lhotková, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: Personnel work is an integral and significant part of a job description of every secondary school headteacher. Effectively and thoughtfully done personnel activities influence the quality of work of the whole school and minimize possible risks at work with people. This final work deals with personnel activities in respect of defining the most frequent personnel risks at work of a secondary school headteacher. It proceeds from studying specialized literature to this subject matter and from a survey made among secondary school headteachers in the Liberec region. This work offers secondary school headteachers information about possible personnel risks with regard to personnel activities those risks are related with.
