The Visions of Consumer Society in Aldous Huxley's Brave New World and Julian Barnes's England, England

This bachelor thesis is based on two British literary works - Aldous Huxley's Brave New World (1932) and Julian Barnes's England, England (1998). The main aim of the thesis is to focus on the visions of consumer society and commodification in these novels and to explore its impact on individuals, culture and society itself. The first part of the thesis is concerned with consumerism, and its historical development and the main part analyses the features of this phenomenon in both dystopian novels. Comparison 3M subsidiaries in the Czech and Slovak through quantitative methodologies intercultural Globe with applications of marketing management

The goal of this thesis is cross-cultural comparation of Czech and Slovak subsidiary of 3M Company. It will be reached through GLOBE study in comparison with Geert Hofstede method and its five main cultural dimensions. Questionnaire research will be conducted for achieving this goal ( according to original questionnaire of GLOBE study) among employees of mentioned subsidiaries in Prague and Bratislava. Findings of this research method will be used for explanation of cultural differences (should there be any) between 3M Cesko and 3M Slovensko. Also these findings will proof wheter or not is possible to apply the same marketing management in both countries.
Evaluation of the project Modernization and extension of the swimming pool in Jindřichův Hradec

The thesis is dealing with issues of public expenditures. In the very beginning, it defines self-government, mostly local self-government. Definition of public contract and public project follows. This bachelor's thesis does not owe even precise defining of types of public contracts. The main part of whole paper is evaluation of mentioned contracts and projects. In that section of the paper are described economic methods of evaluation, further more it clarifies evaluation prescribed by law. Further the paper introduces practical evaluation of a specific project based on economic monocriterial method exactly by Cost benefit analysis. In the end the thesis deals with evaluation of public satisfaction with mentioned public project
