The issue of providing nursing care for patients from another culture is a hot topic. The rapidly changing sociodemographic makeup of the population brings many benefits and cultural challenges to clinical nursing. However, many cultural challenges can be navigated by developing cultural competence among nurses. The main objective of this dissertation is to evaluate, analyse and compare nurses' cultural competence levels in the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Hungary and Poland. Another aim is to discover the cultural challenges encountered when treating patients from other cultures in these countries. The standardized Cultural Competence Assessment instrument and a non-standardized questionnaire examining cultural challenges in nursing clinical practice were used for data collection, both of which were administered online. Data collection was conducted in four countries. SASD 1.5.8 and IBM SPSS ver. 28 were utilized for data processing. The non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test, Spearman's rank correlation coefficient, Chi-square test, test of Independence and Kruskal-Wallis test were used to verify the correlation between variables. The research sample consisted of a total of 766 nurses from selected countries. A total of 202 nurses from the Czech Republic, 222 from Slovakia, 124 from Hungary, and 218 from Poland participated in the study. The results of the study show that the most dominant cultural challenge in the clinical practice of nurses in the selected countries is the language barrier. Evaluation of cultural competencies showed that the majority of nurses in the selected countries consider themselves culturally competent. Female nurses from the selected states exhibit a higher level of cultural competencies than their male counterparts. The nursing position also influences the level of cultural competence. It was found that Slovakian, Czech, and Polish charge nurses demonstrate higher scores in the area of cultural awareness and sensitivity. Conversely, Slovakian, Hungarian, and Polish general nurses have higher scores in the area of culturally competent behaviour, with Czech charge nurses achieving the highest scores. Also, a statistical correlation between education and cultural competence was found. Czech, Slovak, and Hungarian nurses with higher education demonstrate a higher level of cultural competence. It is noteworthy, however, that undergoing diversity education training does not impact cultural competence. The results of this study show the current issues in culturally competent care of patients from different cultures. Cultural competence is an essential component of quality and safe care for any patient. By addressing the identified factors, it is possible to increase the cultural competence of nurses and thus improve the quality of care provided.

Mobile Application for Finding Meeting Participant Photos

The goal of this work is to design and implement an application to find meeting participants, their photos and to manage these meetings with the ability to write notes. The application should make preparations for these meetings more efficient. For the successful development, the target group survey, the requirements analysis and subsequently the design and implementation were performed. The result is a functional mobile application that is tested with aspect to usability of the user interface.

The level of a generic motor coordination of football players aged 6 - 11 old.

Title: The level of a generic motor coordination of football players aged 6 - 11 old. Purpose: The aim of this bachelor thesis was to determine the level of generic motor coordination in the football categories (6-11 years old). At the same time, we assessed the significance of group differences. Methods: Total of 90 players of SK Slavia Praha born between 2011 and 2016 were involved in the research (U6 n=10, age = 6,0 ± 0,3; U7 n=14, age = 7,2 ± 0,2; U8 n=13, age = 8,0 ± 0,3; U9 n=19, age = 9,1 ± 0,3; U10 n=18, age = 10,2 ± 0,6; U11 n=18, age = 11,2 ± 0,2). The level of a generic motor coordination was assessed using the KTK test battery (Kiphard, Schilling, 2007). The observational method in the form of field testing was used for the data collection. Coefficient of substantive significance called Hedges' g was used to assess the significance of differences between categories. Results: In the results, it was found that between 19% to 54% of the players scored in the top category of "highly above average" in the KTK motor test. At least 80% of the players achieved performance in the top two categories of "highly above average + above average". The theses deals with the theme of pastoral meeting with parents requesting the baptism of a child, based on documents of the Magisterium for the Pastoral of Sacraments in the Vicariate of Kolín. The first part of the thesis deals with the most important documents of the Magisterium and the Pope Francis' speeches on the baptism of children. The aim of the second part of the theses is to investigate the state of putting the recommendations of the Magisterium's documents into practice in the Vicariate of Kolín. The research method is structured interview with the individual vicars of the vicariate. The data were classified into ten thematic areas. The final evaluation identifies the problems related to the implementation of the magisterium's documents into practice. The evaluation also proposes recommendations to address the problematic issues.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the financial analysis of S&T CZ s. r. o., whose main business activities are promotion and provision of software and consultancy in a field of information technology. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the financial health of the company based on publicly available data between years 2011 and 2015. All the indicators defined in the methodological part will be used in the analytical chapter, which contains horizontal and vertical analysis, commented results of the ratio indicators, and also bankruptcy and creditworthy models, which show the overall financial situation of the company. Finally, on the basis of the processed financial analysis, a short-term financial plan is drawn up for the following year 2016.

Complex comparison of long-term and short-term letting

The aim of this work is to provide an investor with how to invest in lettings manual. This is done by comparing two types of lettings in several different categories: risk, legal aspects, cost, property management and rate of return. The paper is assuming private investor financing the flat purchase only from equity. Focusing not only on financial aspects, the work intends to provide an investor with a complex decision making tool when it comes to deciding whether to buy and rent out a property in Prague.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to conduct a financial analysis of CNM textil a. s. during this period: 2011 - 2015. Another aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate financial situation and to forecast future development of this company. The methodical part summarizes procedures that are used in the analytical part. The analytical part consists of horizontal and vertical analysis, calculation of ratio indicators and comparison with direct competitors and testing the financial health with bankruptcy and creditworthy models. In the last part of this bachelor thesis the short term financial plan is made. The short term financial plan includes a planned profit and loss statement and a planned balance sheet.

The aim of this master thesis is to evaluate equity of the company Mlýny J.Voženílek, spol.s.r.o. based on the data from public sources. The evaluation is conducted as at January 1. 2016. Aim of this evaluation is to set market value. The methods used for this evaluation are DCF equity method, industry multiples method and my own method. The thesis is divided into 8 parts. Among those parts are introduction of the company, strategic analysis, financial analysis, prognosis of value drivers, compilation of financial plan and the evaluation itself.

The following diploma thesis gives a brief summary of artists and artistic waves which depict the world of technics and engineering. It tries to discover their linkages to the development of fine art and explore artistic transformation of reality. The work presents a machine and technical inventions as a source of inspiration for visual creation. Theoretical part of my thesis gives evidence of works inspired by motives like a machine or an invention.
