The sewerage water in biology education at secondary school

The contents of this diploma work compose of cleaning sewerage water and adding an excursion in education according to The General education Programs for Grammar School (RVP-G). Two working hypothesis where tested: 1) The students, which pass an excursion in sewage plant and work job sheets up, keep in mind the information about cleaning sewerage water better. 2) The students, which can view only a PowerPoint presentation without any other active working on presented information, keep in mind this information worth. First, the list of sewage plants within borders of the Capital city Prague was created. These plants can be visited by students of second schools. The next step was the creation of education materials (a PowerPoint presentation, the First information for students before an excursion started, the Job sheets). Information about the PowerPoint presentation was added for lectors need. There where 134 students of second level of grammar school in Prague in the investigation. Given hypotheses where tested via control test for students. This test shows which the students, which view the PowerPoint presentation and can fill the job sheets in classes, keep in mind the piece of knowledge about the sewage plants questions in better way.
