Vladimír Michálek: development of a director

Vladimír Michálek is one of the most distinctive Czech film directors of the post-revolution generation. Although at FAMU he studied documentary film, he turned to feature films right after his studies. His work stands apart from the Czech context mainly because Michálek is one of the few directors who aren?t afraid to experiment. He sees himself as a mere craftsman who fulfills visions of others, however his careful preparation and original approach to every project prove the contrary. Michálek has made 6 feature films. An interesting part of his work are adaptations of complex novels, whose meanings are often difficult to grasp. His biggest artistic achievement so far is the film Sekal has to Die. The aim of my work is to analyze Michálek?s feature films and see how the director approached individual topics and in connection to this monitor his changes of style.

Influence of the estoppage of right to deduction of VAT related to personal cars

The purpose of this work is to describe an amendment of the Act of the value added tax (VAT) from 2009, that cancelled an estoppage of right to deduction of VAT concerning personal motor cars. In first two chapters I summarize goals and expectations resulting from the amendment, then I compare the situation in the Czech republic with other states of the European Union and last but not least is my consideration of the legislative process of approving the amendment, to be accurate the part referring to an estoppage of right to deduction of VAT related to automobiles. The aim of this work is to discover whether the purchasebility of cars increased due to the mentioned change of law. I analyse the evolution of saleability of vehicles under 3.5 tonnes before and after the force of the changed law of VAT. Based on the results of the analysis, it is possible to review, that the expected effect of an increase in demand for motor cars has not appeared after the cancellation of an estoppage of right to deduction of VAT.

Projection of future development of economically active population

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the structure of the population of the Czech Republic in terms of education and economic activity and then draw out its future development. To this variations of the projection is included the development of economic activity in the population compared to the standard demographic projections. This approach allows better assessment of future development economically active parts of the population by its actual participation in the labor market, and not only by age group, as it is in most demographic projections. This work also includes analysis of sex-education-age structure of the population and analysis the reasons for economic inactivity.

OSS and Provisioning in Telecom practise.

This bachelor thesis deals with Telco specialized software and its specific software focusing on OSS (Operational Support Systems) and ordering. The introductory chapter describes IT background of an average telecommunications provider and offers complex view to the relations with BSS (Business Support System). The thesis also mentions integration of individual parts from provider's IT background to a whole and describes the usual methods to achieve this goal. The second part deals with the issue of standardization of Telco software and its history. It describes the establishment of Telemanagement Forum and its program NGOSS (New Generation Operations Systems and Software). Then, OSS functionalities are described by way of an example case study for an important Czech telecommunications corporation. The last part deals with telecommunications market in European Union and basic characteristics of telecommunications providers and their supplier companies. In conclusion, the analyzed problems are summarized and the importance of telecommunications software and telecommunications in general is explained.

Comparison of accounting and corporate income tax

The bachelor's work deal with the problem of calculation of the tax base from the trading income listed in accounting. The work also shows the taxpayers how they can currently decrease of tax base of income tax according czech law. One chapter is devoted the importance of analytical accounts in the process of alteration of trading income for the taxpayers.

Analysis of foreign trade between Czech republic and Switzerland

Práce se zabývá analýzou zahraničního obchodu ČR a Švýcarska. V jednotlivých částech je analyzována obchodní politika (historický vývoj obchodní politiky vůči Švýcarsku od roku 1993 -2005, cesta Švýcarska evropskou ekonomickou integrací, Společná obchodní politika EU), srovnání ekonomik, struktury zahraničního obchodu (otevřenost ekonomik, komoditní a teritoriální struktury) a konkurenceschopnost (analýza na základě Ročenky světové konkurenceschopnosti IMD). Práce klade důraz na rozdíly vývoje ekonomik, způsobené technologickou mezerou.

Personal data protection in banking system

Cílem této práce je osvětlit problematiku ochrany osobních údajů v bankovnictví, uvést hlavní zákony spjaté s osobními údaji, které musí banky dodržovat. Nejvíce prostoru je dáno těmto zákonům a to zákonu o bankách, zákonu o ochraně osobních informací, zákonu proti legalizaci výnosů z trestné činnosti a pak zákonu o podnikání na kapitálovém trhu. Dalšími body práce jsou kapitoly věnované jednotlivým dopadů těchto zákonů na sektor bankovnictví. Což je především oblast compliance, praní špinavých peněz a veřejně přístupným systémům s osobními údaji.

Vliv vzniku a fungování společné měnové oblasti na členské země EU a obchod mezi nimi

Práce je zaměřena na problematiku měnové unie, a to ze tří hledisek: historického, teoretického a empirického. V historické části popisuje projekty podobné Evropské měnové unii z evropské historie a objasňuje motivaci vzniku měnových unií. Následuje analýza nákladů měnové unie a to pohledu teorie optimálních měnových zón. Následuje vyhodnocení jednotlivých kritérií teorie na základě empirických studií a posouzení sladěnosti hospodářských cyklů ekonomik EU. Poslední část tvoří analýzu přínosů měnové unie zaměřenou na obchod. V této části je pojednáván především tzv. Roseův efekt.
