3D FDM printer with a replaceable print head
Čuma, Zdeněk ; Kupčák, Radim (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The aim of the work is to design and manufacture a mechanism for setting up and clamping the replaceable head of a 3D FDM printer. The first part of the thesis deals with 3D printing in general, the second part describes the FDM method. Part three is devoted to the selection and construction of a suitable 3D printer, the fourth part to the actual design of the head attachment. In the fifth part, a technical and economic evaluation is carried out.
Influence of surface roughness on optical properties of machined materials
Production of a replacement part of the i20 car handle with the FDM printer
Borovský, Adrián ; Kupčák, Radim (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design and manufacture of a functional part of the Hyundai i20 car, specifically the door handles that have been damaged by wear. The aim is to produce a technically and economically suitable variant of the handle, that will meet the technical requirements for operation and will be able to compete with the original.
Precise bonding of composite materials
Tellinger, Adam ; Gregor, Lukáš (referee) ; Kupčák, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of bonding composite materials. The first part of the bachelor's thesis is focused on research into the production of composite materials and gluing technologies. The content of the practical part is the design of test specimens and a preparation for their bonding with subsequent production. Furthermore, verification of compliance with the required accuracy of bonded joints when using different adhesives using 3D measurements.
Bonding of 3D printed PET-G parts
Maxa, Ondřej ; Kupčák, Radim (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This bachelor thesis solves the problem of gluing PET-G material, which is used for printing 3D models in 3D printers. The goal is to select and then test the adhesive suitable for bonding the material. The suitability of the recommended adhesives was determined on the basis of standardized tests on experimental blasting equipment. Based on the measurement results, it is suitable to use one-component instant adhesives for gluing PET-G material, the advantage of which is easy handling and quickly achievable handling strength.
Characteristic of vehicle’s differential
Málek, Tomáš ; Kupčák, Radim (referee) ; Ohnišťová, Petra (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with characteristic of various types of differentials in motor vehicles. It represents their functions, various designs and comparisons. It also includes all wheel drive chapter. The main part is the technology of gear production which involves 3D print. There is model of differential, which was created in Solid Works 2016 specifically for this thesis. It is also printed on 3D printer and the printout is compared with a real model of differential.
Production design of a component for aerospace industry
Kunst, Ondřej ; Kupčák, Radim (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Master's thesis deals with the design of the production of a component from the aviation industry. The first part contains an analysis of the solved part and its production variant. The second part is devoted to the theoretical analysis of the operations that were used for the production of the given part. The third part deals with the design of production technology. Here, the choice of suitable semi-finished product, CNC machines and cutting tools, the creation of a production procedure and the compilation of NC programs are solved. At the end of the thesis, a technical-economic evaluation is prepared.
Bonding of composite materials in precise applications
Hartmann, Kurt ; Gregor, Lukáš (referee) ; Kupčák, Radim (advisor)
A study on composite materials and adhesive technology was conducted as part of the research. The main objective of the work was to evaluate the suitability of selected adhesives for precision applications. The practical part focused on this objective and included the design and development of a special bonding preparation, enabling the creation of samples for subsequent strength testing.
Production of a working replacement part of a blender using the FDM printer
Bruštík, Adam ; Kupčák, Radim (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis is devoted to designing variants of kitchen appliance gearing, subsequent production via FDM 3D printing method and the evaluation of its technical and economical aspect. The research in a theoretical part briefly describes an issue of worm gears and FDM method. The selection of the most suitable variant is assessed on the basis of the results achieved with FEM.
