Tuition of crawl stroke technique to children of younger pupil age

Title: Tuition of crawl stroke technique to children of younger pupil age Goal of the thesis: The goal of the thesis is a creation of digital videoprogramme dealing with the current tuition of crawl stroke to children of younger pupil age. The programme depicts a procedure of analytic-synthetic teaching method and presents technical exercises suitable for teaching crawl technique to children of younger pupil age. Methods: Acquired data were collected and evaluated using basic didactic methods of theoretic and empiric acquisition by cognition, where comparison with published theory is possible. Video recordings of exercises were acquired according to a program assembled beforehand. The final videoprogramme was created using computer processing of video recordings. Results: Based on the knowledge gained, possible swimming exercises are suggested in a form of a digital videoprogramme. These exercises are suitable for tuition of children of younger pupil age. Digital video recording illustrates the procedure of analytic-synthetic teaching method, which is suitable for both professional and non-professional communities. Motorical performance of children in sport and un-sport classes of elementary school in Poprad

Title: Motorical performance of children in sport and un-sport classes of elementary school in Poprad Target of work: The main target of the diploma work is to find out if there are any differences concerning an unspecifical motorical performance in case of scholars in sport and unsport classes of elementary school, or if an unspecified motorical performance in case of the scholars from sport classes is differed according to concrete sport focus. Method: The diploma work is worked in form of an empirical quantitative research. The level of basical motorical performance has been discovered on the basis of testing battery UNIFITTEST (6-60). The research has been kept in standardized conditions with minimalization of external influences (gym). The chosen researched set are the scholars from basical school in Poprad, which have attended in school year 2008/2009 the fourth and the ninth grade of sport and un-sport classes. The scholars of sport classes have been intended to swimming or ice hockey. Results: From the results of our study emerges, that the basical motorical performance of the scholars from sport classes is on higher level than in the case of the ones from the classes without specifical focus. Title: Age of the swimmers in the Master Championships in finswimming between 2002 - 2008. Objective of the thesis: The objective of the thesis is to state the age structure of finswimmers in the World Championships between 2002 - 2008, in surface finswimming, Apnea, Immersion, and open water finswimming. Method: Basic statistical method was used to assess the data. Via the computer data process, the list of the actual representation of age categories amongst the finswimmers in the championships between 2002 - 2008 in all swimming events was acquired. Results: Submited work records are showing the list of age categories amongst the finswimmers in the championships in all swimming events of male and female between 2002 - 2008. Educational Aims of Czech Jesuits in the 1st half of the 20th Century

Diploma thesis: "Educational Aims of Czech Jesuits in the 1st half of the 20th Century" deals with the Jesuits. The work begins with a brief outline of anti - catholic tendencies in the 16th Century and the history of the religious order Society of Jesus, i.e. Jesuits, untill the year 1950. The live of two founders of the order - St. Ignatius of Loyola and St. Francis Xavier are depicted more detailed. The main part of thesis contains description of the history of individual Jesuit Associations that were centers of spiritual activities. This is followed by depiction of Jesuit educational events in the period from 1926 to 1930, in particular in the territory of today's Czech Republic. My goal was to point out how Jesuits educated in the period from 1926 to 1930 and how could eventually some of their best educational strategies be applied today, not only in the Catholic Church. During preparation of thesis, I worked with available literature and also materials from the Czech Jesuit archive.
Career achievements of junior swimmers

Title Career achievements of junior swimmers. Goal The goal of this thesis is to follow a development of swimmers' performance. The research focuses on the age in which swimmers reach the highest level of performance and it is trying to discover whether their career continues till their adulthood. The study group consisted of swimmers who were members of Czech Junior Representation from 1999 to 2004. The results of each swimmer in the study group were followed from the beginning of their career till the end. Method Data for this research were obtained from statistical materials and publications. In addition various computer programs were utilized to process the collected information in order to achieve the research goal of this thesis. Results (Conclusion) The data used for the study show that junior swimmers reach the peak of their performance in their adolescent years. Problems Connected with the Teaching of the Biology of the Human at Primary and Secondary Schools

Biologie člověka pojednává o všech stránkách života člověka, které vyplývají z jeho biologické podstaty a nepřesahují významněji do oblasti duchovní a sociální. Jedná se proto o obor velmi široký, jehož rozsah a hranice mohou být chápány různě (Novotný, Hruška 1999). Jakou metodu a formu výuky přírodopisu a biologie učitel zvolí, záleží na něm samotném. Ve své diplomové práci jsem se zaměřila na velmi účinnou metodu projektového vyučování, která vede к motivaci nejen žáky, ale i učitele. Vede děti к získávání vědomostí, к aktivnímu přístupu к učení i к uplatnění se v rámci kolektivu. Především proto bych doporučovala zařazovat tento typ výuky do učebních osnov častěji. Neustále se zdůrazňuje propojení školy s realitou života a právě projektové vyučování výuku životní realitě přibližuje nejvíce. Toto propojení výuky potvrzuji vytvořením školního projektu "Srdce" aneb konferencí o prevenci kardiovaskulárních chorob určený pro 8. třídu základní školy. The Swimming Event 100m Butterfly in the Period 1957 - 2005

Title: Swimming event of 100 meter butterfly in the period from 1957 to 2005. Objective of the research: The objective of this research is to monitor the development of butterfly stroke in the 100 meter event in both males and females during international competitions completed in 50meter pool in the period from 1957 to 2005. Methodology: Source data for conducting the result part of the thesis were obtained through the historical methods and through researching documents. Obtained data were elaborated with basic statistical analysis and then evaluated by graphs and tables. The main sources were the results from international competitions such as the Olympic Games, World Championships and also FINA annual reports from 1983 to 2005. Results: Presented results show chronological overview of development in the World Records, performance trends and other characteristics related to the researched event. The Four-Year Olympic Cycle of a Top Performance Swimmer

Name: The four-year olympic cycle of a terminal swimmer. Objective: The objective of the research is to appreciate the external training loading condition and the development of the effeciency during the four-year olympic cycle 1996-2000 of the Slovak representative in swimming, Miroslav Machovič. Method: In this research there were used the methods of the literary studies, analise of the recording documents and interview with the object of the research. Discovered data in a illative part were used in a tabular and graphic figuration. Results: Presented results give the outline about regulating and structure of the individual training loading condition in higher stage of the sport training and development of the individual effeciency.
