The works of "Rudolfinian composers" included in the printed book of organ tablatures Tabulaturbuch (1607)
The molecular mechanism of CSL protein participation in oxidative stress response in Schizosaccharomyces pombe
Daněk, Petr ; Převorovský, Martin (advisor) ; Sipiczki, Matthias (referee)
Redox homeostasis maintenance is important for proper organism and cell function, for while relatively low amount of reactive oxygen (and nitrogen) species contributes to the fine tuning of signal transduction, excessive concentration of ROS (oxidative stress) has demonstrably harmful effects and is tightly connected to many pathological states. Cells therefore evolved broad palette of antioxidant mechanisms that express striking level of conservation among different species. Large, intricate stress response signaling networks have been already described; nonetheless, novel molecules employed in stress-related signaling are still being discovered. Several studies recently suggested transcription factors CSL, proteins essential for regulation of metazoan development as effectors of Notch signaling, are also involved in response to oxidative stress. The fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe, well established model of response to various stresses, comprises two paralogs of CSL proteins - Cbf11 and Cbf12. We have found cells depleted of cbf11 are highly resistant to hydrogen peroxide. This resistance appears to be caused by upregulation of important stress responsive genes including ctt1, gst2, pyp2, and atf1. Cbf11 is therefore negative regulator of these genes, which suppresses their expression...
Reviews of defects and failures of existing object
Kinclová, Anežka ; Daněk, Petr (referee) ; Schmid, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis is a structural engineering investigation of a family house in Omice, Brno – venkov district. The whole object was measured, documented, examined. After finding a series of defects, the aim of the theoretical part became to describe problematic of humidity and moisture in buildings and rehabilitation of moisture masonry.
Modern (digital) forms of music and a role of social networks
Pražáková, Eliška ; ŠTILEC, Jiří (advisor) ; DANĚK, Petr (referee)
This doctoral thesis is comprised of two main fields of studying. The first one deals with modern digital on-line technologies in relation to the distribution of music and the current situation on the music market, including digital copyright law issues related to intellectual property value. The second area describes social networks (Facebook, YouTube, Myspace and others) with a focus on marketing, promotion, image and PR policy of cultural (music) management and cultural (music) institutions. This thesis provides a detailed specification of all the benefits, challenges, risks and pitfalls arising from the digital age, including several case studies.
Optimalization of e-shop for company
Štencl, František ; Daněk, Petr (referee) ; Dvořák, Jiří (advisor)
Work is oriented to create project of e-shop for specific company. The thesis then focuses on the technologies and solutions, which lead to creating the particular e-shop.
Evaluation of the current building structural condition of the building
Bárta, Vojtěch ; Daněk, Petr (referee) ; Schmid, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the building technical and structural condition of the family house in Brno Lisen. The part of the thesis are the plan of methodology, implementation and evaluation of the diagnostic work. Selected components were statically evaluated and the possibly variant of the static ensure of building reconstruciton was designed.
Influence of standards changing on reliability of lightweight roof structures
Štěpánek, Petr ; Girgle, František ; Daněk, Petr ; Růžičková, Jana
This paper is intended to experts who work on the expert opinion for faults and breakdowns of lightweight roof load bearing structures. Changes of loading standards during the time play a fundamental role by redesigning of existing roof structures, especially of the lightweight structures. Significant differences are shown among the ČSN 730035 – 86, revise ČSN 730035 and ČSN EN 1991 in climatic loading (snow, wind). If any interventions into lightweight roof structures are planned it is necessary to pay attention to reliability of a load bearing structure. This paper describes some possibilities how to solve this problem.
Static load test of the support structure
Chytil, Jan ; Žítt, Petr (referee) ; Daněk, Petr (advisor)
Subject of the thesis is experimental verification of load capacity of construction for storage coal by using load test. In the first part, the analysis of sorts of load tests is made and its execution in causality with standard regulations. Further possible options of bringing test load are described and also the method of evaluation of static load test. Second part looks into the analysis of means of measurement which can be used to determine required quantity. Final part is dedicated to realization and evaluation of the load test on material construction followed by comparison of experimental values with values established on a model of construction created by using computing program.
Architectural and technical inspection of building damaged by fire
Rozsypalová, Iva ; Schmid, Pavel (referee) ; Daněk, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis summarizes knowlegde related to the behavior of structures and material in the fire, focusing mainly on concrete and reinforced concrete structures. It deals with the design and implementation of diagnostic work of Building no. 103 in complex Svit Zlín affected by a large fire. There are presented evaluation of laboratory experiments of samples and static analysis.
The effect of the shrinkage reducing additives on rheological properties of high-strength concrete
Červenka, Jiří ; Kucharczyková, Barbara (referee) ; Daněk, Petr (advisor)
Master’s thesis examines the effect of the shrinkage reducing additives on rheological properties of high-strength concrete. The first part is focused on high-strength concrete in terms of their composition and properties. The second part contains a detailed analysis of the cementitious composites shrinkage problems. Total shrinkage is divided into individual elementary shrinkages. For each of them there is a detailed description of causes and factors that affect their sizes. The next part describes the basic additives used to reduce the shrinkage of cementitious composites. The experimental part is focused on verifying the effectiveness of the shrinkage reducing additives during preparation of high-strength concrete. Usage of shrinkage drains for relative strain measurement enables to determine the process of shrinkage immediately after placing the concrete in the form and to obtain the overall curve of the hight-strength concrete volume changes during its setting and hardening. At the end of the thesis, there are overall analysis and summary of the results of the performed experiments.
