Temperature and humidity monitoring devices with wirelless communication
Horváth, Michal ; Baštán, Ondřej (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The diploma thesis is about designing device which monitors temperature and humidity. In the first part of thesis are explained basic terms, importance of key variables and on market offered products are described. After that the thesis describes device concept design with schematic designs. From designed schematics are described printed circuit board designs. Next part is about device commissioning and correction of errors caused by incorrect design. Last part is about program designing and device testing.
Production Cell for Industry 4.0 testbed
Byrtusová, Lucie ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Baštán, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on Warehouse production cell, which is a part of the industry testbed 4.0. The first part analyzes the completion of mechanical design of the cell. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the electronic equipment of the cell, including the desing of the electrical wiring, to which electrotechnical documentation was elaborated. The described equipment is process instrumentation and control elements. In the instrumentation are included actuators and sensing elements. The control elements in the cell are PLC, motor drivers and HMI panel. Part of the thesis is devoted to the desing of the embedded driver firmware of unipolar stepper motors. Next part deals with software solution of the cell including PLC and visualization. The final part describes the achieved results.
Locomotive control module
Šrámek, Jiří ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (referee) ; Baštán, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis deals with development of control module for a train model for STARMON’s demonstrator of train safety systems. It fully describes the connection design of diagrams, structure of firmware and solution of the communication protocol. It deals also with system identification and regulator design, including speed ramps. The end of this thesis describes user interface and structure of control applications, which are available for PC and Android.
Control systém of matrix display
Benda, Jan ; Baštán, Ondřej (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The content of this thesis is to design and implement control system for a matrix display BUSE using Raspberry Pi. At first the matrix display was revived because after several attemps of commissioning it seemed to be broken and there were some electrical components that needed to be replaced. The control system allows to design screens and animations for matrix display through graphical element called bitmap. The thesis contains creation of three programs. The control program running on PC, program for microcontroler ATmega128A which displays screens on BUSE panel and program for Raspberry PI which resends data between microcontroller and computer.
Design of mechanical, electrical construction and software equipment of autonomous cell "Soda maker" for Industry 4.0 testbed.
Dvorský, Petr ; Baštán, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
The objectives of this bachelor thesis are design and realization of an autonomous cell for soda production for the testbed of Industry 4.0. First, basic construction principles of the autonomous cell are outlined. Then, the mechanical design, the hydro pneumatic system design, the electrical design and the software design are described. The drawing of the mechanical construction of the cell was devised using CAD NX 12 (Siemens PLM software). Most of the 3D printed parts were printed on 3D printer Tarantula. Hydro-pneumatic system was designed in SMC PeuDraw 2.8 for maximal working pressure of 8.2 Bar. Electrical documentation was created in electrical CAD software WSCAD. For control and communication, the autonomous cell is equipped with PLC SIMATIC S7-1200 (CPU 1214C DC/DC/DC), HMI panel (SIMATIC HMI KPT400 BASIC) and Linksys SD205 switch. The source code for control PLC and HMI was designed in TIA Portal software.
Optimization of Energy Consumption Monitoring System
Hrbek, Martin ; Baštán, Ondřej (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to optimize the existing energy consumption monitoring system and expand the presentation options for the measured data in a way that would be suitable for large volume of data and a long period of time. Optimization concerns especially data processing and data presentation.
Control of pump over GSM
Rybár, Vladimír ; Baštán, Ondřej (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The topic of the final thesis is the project and realization of the pump control using GSM. The present (actual, current) state of control unit of irrigation system is analyzed in the introduction of this thesis. The core of this thesis is to design new controlling irrigation system with using GSM control. In this thesis there are selected suitable (appropiate) components, which are meeting the assigment. After that, the control program was designed. The conclusion of the thesis is to verify the functionality of designed system, to summarize achieved the result and to summarize the possibilities of the system expansion options.
I4.0 Testbed - Introduction And Structure
Bastan, Ondrej
This paper deals with the description of the newly growing testbed for Industry 4.0, which is developed by the Industrial Automation Group (SKUPRA) at the Department of Control and Instrumentation of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication of the Brno University of Technology. Within the first part of of this paper we introduce the idea of the Industry 4.0 phenomenon and motivation for the development of the testbed. The second part of the paper describes both the philosophy of the testbed and the construction itself. The last part of the paper deals with the basic description of the testbed functionality.
Simulator of voltage output 0-10V
Mačišák, Martin ; Baštán, Ondřej (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the design of the voltage output simulator in range of 0-10 V with microcontroller. The part of my bachelor's thesis is theoretical outline of whole system, draft of this system and draft of source. Further creation of wiring diagrams and PCB. Fitting of PCB and programming. This thesis checks up the functionality of the draft and also of whole system. Next outputs are compare with required outputs. Literary research is integral to my bachelor's thesis.
