Use of time in training the 3th grade

Title: Use of time in training the 3th grade Objectives of work: To find out use of time in training the 3th grade of czech teams and compare them with theoretical knowledge, which recommend ČSLH and USA hockey. Methods: Data were collected using the method of indirect observation. During our visits to selected clubs we made the video, which served us as a source of information and data for this work. Tested object represents 4 clubs in the Czech republic. The data from the video were processed into the charts, graphs created and the results compared. Results: In all four tested clubs players are actively in training unit over 25 % of the training time. Mountfield Hradec Králové and BK Mladá Boleslav join his players in training unit more than 50 % time of training. HC Stadion Vrchlabí waste time 12,1 % of training time, Mountfield Hradec Králové 12,8 %, Bílí Tygři Liberec a BK Mladá Boleslav over 25 % time of training. Skating and individual skills train in all tested clubs with the exception of Mladá Boleslav over 60 % training time. Three clubs applies small- area games over 30 % time of training. Only club HC Stadion Vrchlabí used these games in 17,5 % training time. Keywords: Ice hockey, time, training unit, 3th grade

Title: Comparison of the operation of selected ice stadiums in Prague. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to compare selected ice stadiums to each others by using analysis. Furthrmore, the thesis should show the opportunities and threats of teh selected ice stadiums. Methods: The case analysis was chosen as the main research method. In the preparation of this analysis other methods, such as intentional selection, document analysis and semi-structured interview were applied. Based on the results the SWOT analysis was developed. Through this method the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the selected ice stadiums. SLEPT analysis was used to recognize factors, that affects selected ice stadiums. Results: The analysis shows that every single ice stadium is able to assure enough clients. Some cooperate with nearby schools, others are linked with ice hockey club. Three of selected ice stadiums are able to make profit, two are able not to lose money and two were not willing to provide their econimic information. It was also recognized, that there is a huge need to reconstruct some parts in almost every single ice stadium. We could also see that it is important to reach some money from grants. Title: Assessing the activity of ice hockey players depending on the size of the ice rink and the number of players in youth categories of ice hockey Objectives: The main objective of the thesis is to compare the number of shots, goalkeeper saves, pass attempts, pass completions, time spent puckhandling, situations 1-1, fouls and goals in minihockey depending on the size of the playing area and the number of players. In order to fulfill the objective of the thesis the scientific question will be answered: What is the best organization of the game and the size of the ice rink based on proportionately the highest total viewed gaming activities? Methods: We analyze the viewed activities based on 40 video recordings of games of players born in 2007. These will be compared taking into consideration the individual game organization and structures of the ice rink; thereafter the statistical significance of individual differences will be determined. Subsequently, the raw scores will be converted into standardized scores, T- points. Based on the values of T-points the most appropriate size of the ice rink and number of players for an effective development of the gaming activities will be determined. Title: One-sided strain as a risk factor of muscles imbalances in an ice-hockey training of children. Objectives: The objectives of this diploma thesis is a contribution to the solution of one-sided strain problems of older primary-school-aged juniors and its influence on ontogenesis of somatic parameters of children that train ice hockey. Methods: The thesis considered theoretical ways that described a long term influence of ice hockey training on ontogenesis of players, related risks of muscles imbalances origin and possibilities how to compensate these muscles imbalances. A sample of 200 probands specialised in ice hockey training was selected for testing and a control sample of 200 probands without any sport specialisation composed of 50 probands of a birth year 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002 respectively - primary-school-aged juniors. Six different exercises were selected for testing according to the inquiry methodology of Dostálová (2006) and Horkel (2001). Four out of those exercises tested muscles shortening and two exercises tested muscles debilitation. Results: The measured data were statistically assessed by two-sample t-test with equal variance. Title: Fitness preparation of youth in ice hockey Objective: The objective of this work was to examine the use of fitness preparation and the involvement of fitness coaches in youth categories of ice hockey clubs. In order to fulfill the objective of this work an anonymous questionnaire was created. The purpose of the questionnaire was to find the sources of information which coaches use to educate themselves and to find out how they approach the whole concept and content of fitness preparation. Methodology: This bachelor's thesis was designed as a quantitative research based primarily on a questionnaire with evaluation of the qualitative data. Non-standardized open and closed questions were used in the questionnaire. These questions were selected based on repeated consultations with experts in the field of pedagogy, methodology and ice hockey. The questionnaire together with an introductory explanation was sent to coaches of selected youth categories. These coaches were approached via email or telephone and were familiarized with how to correctly fill out the questionnaire. The acquired data were evaluated using descriptive statistics and qualitative evaluation.
