The bachelor thesis deals with assessment of the current state of the fortifications in the river Kuřimka from km 5.046 to 6.261, located in the village of Moravské Knínice and identifying existing flow capacity, using program HEC – RAS. It was made a proposal to improve the current state of flood protection and measures. The proposal will improve flood protection of built-up area.

Course is flowing in urban area of village Brusné, with is situated in Zlín region, After assessment of current state there was preformed personal visit in area of interest and photos were taken. Current capacity was found in asisstance with HEC-RAS 4.1.0. software
Assessment of the silting streambed river Blata in the village Senice na Hané

Assessment of the status of a watercourse in urban area The thesis is concerned with an appraisal of water channel of Blata in urban area of Senice na Hané, Olomouc region. Solved segment is located in RK 34,600-34,976. The channel is modified to a rectangular profile which is silted. In the thesis the capacity of channel of primal improvement is assessed as well as the capacity of silted channel before depuration in 2012 and appraisal of causes of silting and concept of new arrangements in order to reduce silting process. The appraisal of current state of channel is designed on the base of nonscouring and nonsilting velocity calculation. Results of capacity of channel were calculated in HEC – RAS 4.1.0 program.
Gate weir design

The Bachelor Thesis deals with the study of the existing uncontrolled weir on the river Svitava in "Cacovice island" locality and with the design of a new gate weir structure. The first part focuses on the processing of data on the area of interest and the selection of appropriate design solution for the reconstruction of the weir, where there are described several types of adjustable shutters. At the end of this part the current condition of the buildings and the bed of the Svitava river in the area of interest is evaluated. In the second part, the Thesis deals with the design of the gate weir structure and its subsequent assessment. At first, the solid substructure and the height of the shutter is designed and assessed. Subsequently, the stilling basin is designed and in conclusion, the overall stability of the designed structure is assessed.

The topic of this thesis was the evaluation of selected elements of flood control measures, abbreviated as PPO. The aim of this paper was to develop evaluation procedure of PPO and then to apply proposed procedure to a specific location. FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) that allows the identification of failure modes, their causes and consequences.was chose as a method for qualitative assessment.
River trainning design of the Valšská Bystřice river in Bystřice

This bachelor thesis is dealing with the evaluation of river capacity and regulativ of river imide the village Valašská Bystřice. For making a model of part of interest was used computational program HEC-RAS. In the next part was developer theoretical suggestion and its assessment in chozen endangered localities through the lenit of the area of interest.
Regulation of the streambed Hloučela

The thesis describes the evaluation of the present situation of the watercourse of Hloučela river, that is situated in Plumlov village. The trough is situated in the urban area on km 11,831-11,991. The capacity of the present and newly suggested trough has beed worked out using the HEC-RAS program. The thesis contains the evaluaion of the trough stability based on the calculation of non-eroding speed as well as the proposal of measures against strong silting of described area. There are another methods that could be used for soluting the trough stability described.
Design of river stabilization structures at the Bečva river in OSek

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the solution of channel recessing in Osek nad Bečvou. One part deals with the evaluation of historical perspective of the area of interest. In the next part of this thesis the transport of sediments is described. The following part contains of an evaluation of current state of the selected part of the river Bečva and deals with a regulation of the river. In the end the theoretical suggestion of protective measure is developed.
