Horák, Jan ; Hojka, Vladimír (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title: Post-activation potentiation (PAP) phenomenon - review and experimental verification Objectives: Firstly, to compile the systematic review of up-to-date literature. Secondly, to develop method using force platform that will be applicable for PAP measurment during the counter-movement jump. Thirdly, to verify PAP by using the developed method in small group of volunteers. Methods: Review part of the thesis was complied according to analysis of up-to-date literature accessible from Charles University electronic system. The data from the analysis were used to develop method for measurment of PAP by using the force platform (Kistler) and activation of PAP phenomenon by series of squats with specific weight. The peak force and rate of force developement were the monitored parameters. This method was applied on a group of volunteers. Results: Results of experimental part of the thesis showed significant changes in monitored parameters and this change is consistent with current literature. Keywords: post-activation potentiation, peak force, rate of force developement, force platform
Mobility of human populations at the end of the Stone Age
ČERVINKA, Pavel
The presented work entitled "Mobility of Human Populations at the End of the Stone Age" describes, generalizes, summarizes and subsequently evaluates the factors of migratory tendencies in prehistory - for the period of Neolithic over Eneolithic to Early Bronze Age. Emphasis is placed on the clarification of all interdisciplinary issues. Further on a detailed description of individual processes and archaeological approaches to them. As a basis for my own research, a database of data impacted by articles based on the study of strontium isotopes was created. In the next steps, the database was processed using statistical tools and its outputs were contingency tabletables and charts. Spatial assessment and their contexts were conducted in the GIS (Geographic Information System).
Effect of warm up to repetitive speed test
Křížová, Anna ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title: Effect of warm up to repetitive speed test Objectives: Comparison of effects of two variations of warm up on repetitive acceleration speed test. Methods: In this work analysis and comparison method was used. The method of analysis was applied in particular warm up for track-and-field disciplines and speed training. The method of comparison was used for evaluation of results in speed test. Results: Probands achieved the shortest time on 30 meters sprint on first testing after complete warm up. The differences between times after particular types of warm up were not significant. On shuttle run 3 x 10 meters probands achieved on first testing after complete warm up the shortest time again. It was statistical significantly better than on test 30 meters sprit. Achieved time after motion activity was almost the same after complete or partial warm up. Keywords: acceleration speed test, effect of warm up, repetitive test, speed, speed test, warm up
Comparison of selected parameters of long jump disabled athletes

Title: Comparison of selected parameters of long jump disabled athletes. Goals: The main goal of this work is to evaluate the selected characteristics in the long jump persons with various disabilities. Method: Data were obtained by analyzing long jump. I focused on four variables in the long jump, which we evaluated in the program Kinovea. The resulting data were first compared with those of healthy jumpers and then within each of class. Results: The values that we created after analysis, we published these results. Ideal values of selected parameters achieved more health jumpers, jumper with disabilities reached lower performance. Within the different categories were examined parameter values are different; the biggest differences were noted in the above-knee amputation jumpers Key words: Long jump, disability athletes, acceleration rate, fulcrum phase, angle of takeoff.

Percentage evaluation was used for quantitative comparison. Results: Thesis shows that different preparation from model characteristics load together with ineffective development trainings each special of running abilities and wrongly...
Sprinter's training
Ptáčníková, Hana ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title: Sprinter's training Objectives: Determine the dynamics of performance and assess training load in the stage of specialized training. Try to find out why the training load contributed to the expected growth performance in the periods 2009 - 2010 and 2012 - 2013 and that the training load was consistent with model values. Methods: In the thesis I used the method of content analysis, comparative method, a method of self-reflection, self-analysis and objectification. Results: In performance analysis, we found out that the highest efficiency in running the 100m was achieved in 2012 and running the 200 m in 2009. Values of training load comparing to model values are average or below average, only the speed endurance values were above average. The main reason for the decline in performance in 2009 - 2010 and 2012 - 2013 were health problems as a result of lack of regeneration and psychological problems arising from unfulfilled performance aspirations.
