Kamailio and OpenSIPs open source PBX
Janeček, Václav ; Krkoš, Radko (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
Open source PBX Kamailio and OpenSIPS diploma thesis covers familiarization with appointed SIP exchanges and with their power comparing. A detailed installation instructions on the operating system Ubuntu is the aim of this work too. The work includes the historical development of telephone exchanges with a focus on the latest generation. The following is SIP protocol basic description and components that can be composed SIP exchanges. Another part is devoted to the development of exchanges Kamailio and OpenSIPS. The thesis contain the archutecture and configuration file description. The practical part of the thesis deals with high-capacity switches, and comparing it in terms of memory and computational demands. Selected measurements are compared with the Asterisk PBX.
Technology for comprehensive support of multimedia services in heterogeneous networks
Dosoudil, Petr ; Krkoš, Radko (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
The theses explains the Evolution Packet System (EPS) and subsystem IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). It also informs how these systems cooperate and through which interfaces the main data and signals between these two technologies are transfered. The thesis includes practical section, in which installation and configuration of sections of the IMS system including its "core", and application and medial server. For verification of the functionality of the system, two dissimilar clients are installed, and emulator WAN is applied for simulation of Internet. The product of the theses is the design of the laboratory exercise drafted in such a way that it can be solved by students less knowledgeable of the issues.
User plane analysis in 4th generation mobile networks
Velsh, Ilya ; Novotný, Vít (referee) ; Krkoš, Radko (advisor)
The thesis describes the 2G, 3G and 4G mobile systems with a focus on the user plane. It decipt the problem of key performance indicators focusing on the characteristics of the user plane. It contains analysis of the basic data transmission services and requirements for their quality. The thesis also describes the user plane protocol stacks.
Implementation of triple-play in heterogeneous network
Obršlík, Lukáš ; Šedý, Jakub (referee) ; Krkoš, Radko (advisor)
This master thesis deals with implementing triple-play services and providing it’s quality of services in heterogenous comunnication networks. The aim of thesis is to apply the- oretical methods in real case and existing network infrastructure. Practical part aims to create technical solution to prioritize network traffic based on classification of required services. The technical solution is created with conditions of being possible to add more functions and to provide scalability.
Control plane analysis in 4th generation mobile networks
Hajn, Pavel ; Novotný, Vít (referee) ; Krkoš, Radko (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the description of LTE system in terms of signaling on interfaces of LTE and EPC subsystems, such as UE initial network connection. The next section describes the types of diagnostic methods for mobile networks using OSS, drive testing and flow analysis. The thesis also aims at description of key performance indicators (independent service QoS parameters and the KPI for the radio part of the network). Part of the network measurement includes a description of the driver settings and views for analysis. It is also described the implementation of measuring and evaluating the results.
Multiplatform gateway for voice communication in real-time
Starzyczny, Radek ; Krkoš, Radko (referee) ; Novotný, Bohumil (advisor)
This master's thesis is focused on VoIP communications. It describes deploy of the operating system OpenWRT, analog interface of router Gigaset SX762 and GSM gateway for receiving or place calls. The paper describes the protocols involved in the communication and basic configuration elements. Deploying IP telephony enables to reduce the cost of operation and provides a number of additional functions.
The thesis also aims at description of key performance indicators (RSRP, RSSI, etc.) and the proposal for measuring of the LTE network physical layer and the data transmission speed.
Data network simulation using direct code execution
Trávníček, Michal ; Bartl, Milan (referee) ; Krkoš, Radko (advisor)
Purpose of this master thesis was to explain simulation of real network, point to the imperfection during these simulations and try to find out technologies and solutions that could improve credibility of simulation. For this purpose, network simulator ns-3 has been chosen which supports direct code execution together with Quagga software suite. Master thesis describes internet protocol IPv4, UDP protocol, basics of routing and detailed explanation of OSPF routing protocol. Focus in this thesis is also on general description of simulation, its kinds and detail explanation of discrete simulation that is used by ns-3 simulator. Next chapter explains theory of ns-3 simulator, its development, conceptual overview and objects. Direct code execution and Quagga that both help improve credibility of simulation, are described in last chapter of theoretical part of thesis. In practical part of thesis is explained how to install and configure all three implemantaions of ns-3 simulator on Ubuntu, linux distribution. On the basis of obtained knowledge, the simulation model has been designed, also there has been given detailed explanation of how to create new model of simulation and how to analyze its results for all implementation.
Acquisition of communication statistical data from network infrastructure devices
Gargulák, Lukáš ; Nagy, Ľuboš (referee) ; Krkoš, Radko (advisor)
The diploma thesis describes theory that is needed for application development for acquisition of communication statistical data from network infrastructure devices. Aplication is called SDSKSI. The project compares protocols suitable for this purpose. Finally SNMP protocol was chosen because it is the most common in network devices. SNMP is described in detail. Each SNMP operation has its own practical demonstration. In the project there is also described MIB database and data types of MIB objects. Application is able to create network topology. Then administrator of network can imagine how the network looks like. For each device that support SNMP protocol are periodically collected and stored statistical data which can be exported to the file. For application development were chosen programming languages according to several criteria. Content of the laboratory exercise is presented. At the end of the project there are some system solutions for collecting statistical data. Diploma thesis contents two attachments. The first is containing the full text of laboratory task. The second is DVD disc. Disc is containing ready to boot aplication SDSKSI.
Creation of network drivers for the Windows family of operating systems
Krkoš, Radko ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Růčka, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis describes the approach in designing and implementing a driver marking network traffic for quality of service provision. In the beginning distinct technologies usable for the driver development are discussed and compared to each other while the most suiting candidate is chosen for driver development. Next the thesis discusses the design of the driver according to specification and depicts a list of more specific requirements affecting the driver design itself. The focus point in design is the least possible impact on network traffic performance and the running system itself. In addition to the driver an application programming interface usable from user mode is designed and so the system as a whole ensures the marking of network traffic entirely. In the end the created driver architecture is described and the application programming interface is described in terms of use.
