The result of this thesis are suggestions and alternative strategies for the company D.I.S., spol. s r.o.

This diploma's thesis deals with a proposal of the business plan for setting up a relaxing facitity. The work is composed of theoretical, analytical and proposal parts. The theoretical part includes the knowledge which is applied in the rest of the work. The analytical part is aimed at a present-day and future enterprise environment. The proposal part includes the business plan which includes trading, marketing, organisational and financial plan proposals.

The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial situation of the company KRÁLOVOPOLSKÁ SLÉVÁRNA, s.r.o. The financial situation is assessed using the methods of financial analysis. With Visual Basic for Application, which is part of MS Excel 2007, an algorithm is created to calculate the necessary indicators of financial analysis. Based on the results is assessed financial situation of the company and defined weaknesses and proposes measures to improve their future financial situation.

This master’s thesis is focused on problems within the financial situation in one specific company. At the beginning the chosen methods of evaluation of company financial performance are introduced. Afterwards the thesis performs the practical evaluation of specific company financial performance based on the information taken from financial statements and other non public reports. The target of this master’s thesis is to perform the financial analysis of specific company and proposal of its improvement. This target is reached in final part of the master’s thesis.

The outcome of the theses is to provide some solutions and recommendations to eliminate or decrease the limiting financial factors which have been discovered while analyzing the company. All the findings will enhance financial health of the company Pleas a.s.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the financial situation of a chosen company on the basis of financial analysis. For the calculation of the indicators was created own simple algorithm in the Visual Basic for Application in Microsoft Excel. Using the results is assessed financial situation of the company, defined weaknesses and threats and proposed measures to solve the problems to improve the situation.
