Parameters of high performance swimmers training and specialized breast

Title: Parameters of high performance swimmers training specialized in breaststroke swimming style. Aim of the study: The aim of this study was to determine the training load and performance development at leading Czech swimmer, winner of Czech records. Method: Reference period became a four-year olympic cycle before the Olympic Games in London in 2012. Data collection was implemented mainly through the study of documents - coach training diaries and race analysis. Computer processing of the data is performed through descriptive statistics, tabulations and graphic display and degree of dependence. Results: The investigation showed that the training load displacement characteristics observed in many parameters swimmer makes a lower value. Causal could be frequent medical complications. Yet training allowed the swimmer to complete quality training with little performance progression in their major disciplines 50 m and 100 m breaststroke and to start at world competitions. The effect of selected somatic parameters of body and indicators of training on the performance of ten-year swimmers.

Title: The effect of selected somatic parameters of body and indicators of training on the performance of ten-year swimmers Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to determine the influence of selected anthropometric body parameters and practice indicators on the performance of ten-year-old swimmers. Ten-year-old swimmers were examined. Those pupils got through at the Winter Cup of the Czech of ten-year-old pupils in Pilsen in 2011 thanks to their performance. Methods: In our work, we used quantitative research. Anthropometric data were obtained by structured measurement and training indicators were obtained by personal inquiries. 123 probands were included into the research of which 60 were girls (48.78%) and 63 boys (51.22%). All data were processed by regression analysis based on Fischer and Student statistical test. Basic statistics were expressed using Box Plot, chart and graphic display. Results: The research showed that height, month of birth, number of years of swimming training and number of hours in the water for a week represent the greatest influence on the performance of ten-year-old girl swimmers. Title: Training and performance swimmers international level in juniors, seniors and masters Objectives: The main aim of the thesis is to evaluate swimmers performance and its development during the period of competitive swimming and in the masters category in free style discipline. Particular aims are: to record and evaluate performance and training load in competitive swimming and masters category, to record swimmer's opinion on his/her sport activity and determine his/her sport anamnesis. Methods: In our thesis, we have applied a hybrid type of research, in which we have used both quantitative and qualitative investigation of the selected topic. The quantitative part of the thesis was based on studies of documents and interviews. Data obtained was analyzed and interpreted by using descriptive statistics and tabular and graphic visualization. The methods of observations and interviews were used in the qualitative part of the research to explain sport anamnesis of the swimmer. The investigation was carried out in the competition season of 2011/2012. Results: Result presented demonstrate that even with a lower volume of training and in spite of aging, it is possible to achieve performance approaching the performance of sport swimmers during their top season. Title: Performance of masters category swimmers in freestyle disciplines Objectives: The main objective of the study is to evaluate the level and trends in performance of masters swimmers of various age categories in crawl disciplines in the Czech Republic. Particular objectives are: record and evaluate performance according to categories and disciplines, record the opinions of masters swimmers on their sport activity and obtain sport anamneses for selected masters swimmers. The performance of both men and women is monitored. Methods: In our study, we applied the combined type of research and used both quantitative and qualitative investigation of the selected topic. The quantitative part of the study was based on the examination of documents and inquiries. Data gathered was analyzed and interpreted by using descriptive statistics and tabular and graphic representation. The observation and interview methods were used in the qualitative part of the research to explain sport anamneses of selected swimmers. The survey took place in the competition season 2010/2011. Psychological training at the sports swimming

Title of work Psychological training at the sports swimming Goal of work Goal of work is to ascertain the degree of foreknowledge and the utilization of the psychological training as well as managing the emotive condition in contest situations at sports swimming. The role of the research object played the men and women swimmers of the representative teams of the Czech Republic. Techniques and methodology Collection of dates is based on a questionnaire survey. This questionnaire survey was put together for the sake of the goal's purpose and revised by specialists at psychology and swimming. The gained data are presented by means of the quantitive projection in the chart and graphic form. Outcome The final outcome proves a certain cognizance of the competitive swimmers about the relevance of the psychological training. But by most of them is the psychological training considered as insufficient. Only few of the respondents take the advantage of coactions with a sports psychologist. The most frequented psychological methods used by swimmers are - verbal influencing, self-regulatory resources and music incentive. Title: Selected parameters of the body, and performance indicators of training pupils in swimming The Aim: The aim of this study is examine selected anthropometric parameters of the body, general practice and performance indicators swimmers aged 14 years. The survey is located on Czech Championship pupils at age 14 in Litomerice. Pupils will be investigated and pupil The methods: The authors used quantitative research in the form of a structured survey. Data were collected through direct measurement (anthropometric data), survey (training indicators) and study material (performance probands). Examined a set of 120 swimmers had happened at the age of 14 years, who qualified for the Championship of the Czech Republic 14 years pupils, 66 boys and 54 girls. The evaluation of the results was used for basic statistics tabular and graphical display. The results: The research group found that BMI, to some extent, affects the performance in swimming and more in boys than in girls. The average height of the swimmers in this age group is at 172.4 cm swimmer is 165.6 cm. Title: Swim Smooth System and Swimming Specialization Objectives: Along with The Australian Swim Smooth Swim Type Coaching System criteria assign particular swim types to natural predispositions of selected elite swimmers and thus confirm suitability of their specialization. Methods: This work was carried out as a methodological study that explores both the suitability of specialization in a selected group of elite swimmers and the potential benefits of the Swim Smooth Swim Type System compared to the more commonly used method of one swim type. The study involved measuring, displaying, monitoring, evaluation, analysis and correlation. We measured the stroke length and stroke rate. We observed individual style of freestyle technique. We evaluated the Swim Types, somatotype, personality traits of extroversion and swimmers' potential to either speed, middle distance or endurance performance. We performed analysis of the development of swimmers' personal records in their main discipline. We determined the degree of correlation among particular Swim Type criteria that determine Swim Smooth swim types. Swimming level of pupils from elementary schools with own swimming pool

Title: Swimming level of pupils from primary school with private swimming pool. Work objectives: The aim is to identify assess level of swimming of pupils from first to ninth grade of primary school with a private pool in Chomutov district using continuous swimming test with regular swimming lessons, which is started in the first grade and persists until the ninth grade. The condition was organizing a school swimming lessons once a week for 45 minutes in all grades. Methodology: Swimming level was measured quantitatively based on a distance test at 200 m of continuous swimming. Qualitative assessment of swimming level was carried out by observing the course of the test situation and was applied to swimming skills of jump into water, realization of swimming breathing and swimming locomotion. In total, 738 probands were surveyed of which 356 boys and 382 girls. Results: We noted that 53% of surveyed probands with regular swimming lessons are able to swim 200m without interruption of continuous swimming test. We also noted that surveyed pupils who swam less than 200m had acquired less swimming skills (swimming breath and jump into water) than students who can swim 200m.
