Measuring system for temperature test of sensors
Turanský, Luboš ; Čejka, Miloslav (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
In this work is described design of measuring and evaluation system for temperature rise tests in cooperation with ABB company. As temperature sensors are used thermocouples type L and measuring hardware consists of chassis cRIO 9073 and measuring card NI 9213. In LabVIEW 2011 is created software for cRIO and as well for control PC and structure of both programs is described in detail. Thesis includes also practical estimation of metrological parameters of created system.
Frequency measurement
Milota, Martin ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Čejka, Miloslav (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is presentation of the CompactRIO platform by National Instruments with its range of hardware and the possibility of using this platform for the frequency measurement of analog signals. The result of this thesis is software equipment for this device focusing on the frequency measurement of analog signals and experimental verification of posibilities of a specific configuration of this platform in the range of measurable frequencies.
Features real-time operating system for LabVIEW
Válek, Petr ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Čejka, Miloslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with certain properties of real time operating systems (RTOS) Ardence PharLap ETS, WindRiver VxWorks and LabVIEW RT module. Three methodologies of RTOS quality comparison are proposed, two of which are practically tested with described experiments on CompactRIO hardware from NI. Furthermore, there is explained need for RTOS usage and experimental comparison of jitter error influence on total harmonic distortion THD defined by two definitions.
Automated workplace for amplifier parameters measurement
Jurčík, Petr ; Čejka, Miloslav (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create an automated workplace for measuring the basic parameters of audio amplifiers using a graphical programming environment LabVIEW. Subsequently, the functionality will be verified in practical measurements on the real amplifier.
Digitally controlled AC voltage source
Dalík, Vladimír ; Čejka, Miloslav (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals of microprocesor controlled instrument for measuring. In general it is about of controlling instruments and their usage in standard industry. laboratories and measuring systems. The first part contens theoretical knowledge of controlling instrument, his funtions and describes circuitry of sources of AC voltages. This part describes blocks of instrument and basis connecting in system of instrument. Each block is described with examples in praxis. Examples contents typical connecting and their problems out of view in parameters of instrumenr. In this part is whole theory of analysis and practical using separately parts of instrument. Next part is aimed at searching of interrelationship between the teoretical model of source that described by different circuits and practical connections with electronic parts. These part analyse concrete design with exactly sized parameters and connections. In last part contents describing of measuring at prototype. The appendix contains schematics and boards with electronic parts and test reports of measuring output voltage and frequency with required accuracies.
Data compression
Krejčí, Michal ; Havlíková, Marie (referee) ; Čejka, Miloslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with lossless and losing methods of data compressions and their possible applications in the measurement engineering. In the first part of the thesis there is a theoretical elaboration which informs the reader about the basic terminology, the reasons of data compression, the usage of data compression in standard practice and the division of compression algorithms. The practical part of thesis deals with the realization of the compress algorithms in Matlab and LabWindows/CVI.
Set of excercises for data acquisition, analysis and processin course
Kornfeil, Vojtěch ; Havlíková, Marie (referee) ; Čejka, Miloslav (advisor)
This thesis proposes tasks of exercises for mentioned course and design and creation of automated evaluation system for these exercises. This thesis focuses on discussion and exemplary solutions of possible tasks of each exercise and description of created automated evaluation system. For evaluation program are made tests with chosen special data sets, which will prove it’s functionality in general data sets.
MathScript in LabVIEW
Selinger, Michal ; Keprt, Jiří (referee) ; Čejka, Miloslav (advisor)
SELINGER, M. MathScript in LabVIEW. Brno: Brno University of Technology, The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, 2008. 92 pages. Supervisor Ing. Miloslav Čejka, CSc. The main goal of this Thesis is to examine the portability of the m-scripts between The National Instruments LabVIEW MathScript and The MathWorks MATLAB development programs. The Thesis deals with function differences execution speeds and giving overview of using The National Instruments LabVIEW MathScript programme.
Spectral anlysis with superesolution
Vintera, Jiří ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Čejka, Miloslav (advisor)
VINTERA, J. Spectral anlysis with superesolution. Brno: University of Technology, The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, 2008. 85 p. Master’s thesis. This thesis deals with the topic of super-resolution spectral analysis in the Signal Processing Toolset. The Signal Processing Toolset is a software component of the LabVIEW 8.1. program equipment. The thesis consists of three main parts. In the first part the basic theoretic concepts of the Model-Based Frequency Analysis are described. The second part serves as a user manual for the super-resolution spectral analysis in the Signal Processing Toolset. The last part describes the application of the theory introduced in the first part, by means of testing the properties of the methods used by the Toolset.
Software for field gamaspectrometr
Adamec, Filip ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Čejka, Miloslav (advisor)
This work is about design, implementation, menu and communication with superior system for gamaspectrometer. The first part of the document describes basic principles of measuring of gamma spectra and their processing. The second part describes in basics software core of the spectrometer, handling of the keyboard, graphic and text output. Used algorithms are described, and their implementation. The third part contains analysis of requirements on menu, basic concepts of menu control. Next, it is described how to handle inputs from user, like numbers, date and time, and also how to solve the menu for display of values and for input of values. The forth part describes requirements for communication with superior system (PC), analyses how to do deal with this and reasons for this solution. The conclusion brings all concepts used in the previous chapters and reached goals.
