Prosthetic Rehabilititation Program after Transfemoral Amputation

Title: Prosthetic rehabilitation program after transfemoral amputation Objectives: The goal is to provide a comprehensive overview of the prosthetic rehabilitation after transfemoral amputation with a focus on all methods, procedures and operations to ensure the successful application of orthopedic prostheses client, and her full recovery. Methods: For creation of thesis was used qualitative research method of data collection and analysis of secondary data from scientific articles, magazines and publications. The method used for data verification was informal chat with expert. Results: Prosthetic rehabilitation positively affects the lives of patients with transfemoral amputations and improve his life and lifestyle. Methods: The theoretical part is a literature review. In the practical part I gained knowledge by studying literature consulted with prosthetics in Pilsen and Czech Budejovice. The skills I used when designing myoelectric forearm prosthesis with subsequent rehabilitation care and occupational therapists. Medical Aids and Equipment for Children with Cerebral Palsy

Title of the thesis: Medical Aids and Equipment for Children with Cerebral Palsy. The thesis' aims: The main goal of the thesis is to convey a well-structured description of the use, benefits and types of currently available medical aids employed in the treatment of children with cerebral palsy. Another cardinal aim is to complexly abridge the issue of how the condition originates, manifests itself, develops, and explore the alternatives for its treatment. Method used: Besides technical bibliography, in-depth surveys that included first- person interviews and personal encounters with a number of professionals as well as patients have been used. Results and conclusions: Various medical aids play a crucial role in the affected child's life, lessen his dependence, improve his motor skills, raise his life standard and help him in his quotidian activities and communication. Key-words: orthotics, adjuvatics, calceotics, cerebral palsy in children, spasticity, neurology.

Title: Upper-Extremity Prosthetic fitting after amputation. Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide a comprehensive and ilustrating summary of findings from the field of orthotics and prosthetics , specifically the issue of upper limb amputation and subsequent prosthetic equipment. The core is to describe the technological production processes, policies, principles and types of upper limb prostheses and care of the pacient, so the thesis could serve as a teaching tool suitable for various specializations. Methods: For creation of thesis was used qualitative research method of data collection and analysis of secondary data from scientific articles, magazines and publications. The method used for data verification was informal chat with expert. Results: The results provide sufficient evidence for the use as a guide and tool of prosthetic procedures. Selection of Sailing Craft (Sailboats) for Paraplegic People

Název práce: Výběr oplachtěného plavidla pro jachting paraplegiků Abstrakt: Hledání sportovních aktivit které zmírňují následky tělesného postižení, je soudobá otázka, která se rozvojem sportu zdravotně postižených dostává do popředí celé společnosti. Spojení jachtingu a paraplegiků vytváří možnost eliminovat dopad onemocnění při jízdě na oplachtěném plavidle. Cílem práce je stanovit podmínky, za kterých lze tento sport provozovat, a definovat vhodný typ plavidla, včetně nezbytných bezpečnostních opatření. Cíl práce: Stanovit podmínky pro bezpečné provádění jachtingu paraplegiků Úkoly práce: Stanovit možnost ovládání oplachtěného plavidla paraplegiky, podle výše míšního poranění. Provést rozbor malých oplachtěných plavidel a stanovit kriteria pro výběr vhodného plavidla pro jachting paraplegiků. Určit prostředky pro bezpečné provádění jachtingu paraplegiků. Metoda: Analýza podmínek pro bezpečné provádění jachtingu paraplegiků na oplachtěném plavidle. Výsledky: Na základě této analýzy vyplývá, že částečně ovládat malé oplachtěné plavidlo může postižený v rozsahu Th2- Th5. Při postižení v oblasti Th 6- Th12 může paraplegik jezdit samostatně s dopomocí, při nižších poraněních jezdí bez omezení. Na základě stanovení indexu příčné stability je nejvhodnější pro jachting paraplegiků dvoutrupé malé plavidlo s...
