Radar Signals with Pulse Compression Analysis in Matlab
Trnčíková, Veronika ; Dušek, Martin (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is dedicated to pulse modulation influence to the ambiguity function. The ambiguity function indicates the resolution of the system in range and Doppler frequency. The thesis contains the general introduction of radiolocation basis, individual modulations and the solution in MATLAB environment utilizing spare matrix principles. Graphs of ambiguity function for individual modulations created in MATLAB environment are included in the text.

Control unit for an industrial convection oven
Augustin, Stanislav ; Dušek, Martin (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The contents of this semestral thesis is to explore ways to design of controll unit for convection oven for prototype transformers production for welding technology and design a scheme of the unit. The controll unit must be able to regulate the ambient temperature inside the oven using a power management of heating elements (for example heating rail) inside the oven.
Data logger for serial communication lines
Jankech, Tomáš ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Dušek, Martin (advisor)
The aim of bachelor’s thesis is the realization of data logger for serial communication lines. This paper describes basic concepts of serial communication and looks more deeply into RS232 and RS485 serial communications standards. It describes usual methods of data recording and their application in practice. Data logger’s block diagram is described in detail for each of its parts. Their descriptions contain an overview of circuits, which allows realization of individual blocks and circuit diagram of selected circuit. Following chapters describes design of printed circuit board, control application for PC and firmware for the microcontroller.
Microcontroller-based graphic equalizer
Šmotek, Jiří ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Dušek, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with problems of correction of audio-signal by help of equalizer. The first part discusses the fundamental properties of electronic filters. The second part describes graphic equalizer and its schematics. A simulation of this suggested connection is executed in the PSpice software. Furthermore, the circuit diagram is presented and the proposal of PCB design equalizer is realized using the digital potentiometers instead of the classic potentiometers. Following part is then focused on description of a programme for the microcontroller and PC. The last part finally presents the measurement.
Electric guitar combo design
Obr, Viktor ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Dušek, Martin (advisor)
The text of this bachelor´s thesis describes designing a construction of electric guitar combo. The first part of the project deals with history of guitar amplifiers and theory of design of individual components. The second part includes actual designs of guitar effect units (fuzz and tremolo), correction preamplifier, power amplifier with integrated circuit TDA7293V, power supplies for all components and choice of speakers for guitar combo. All effect units and preamplifier are also simulated in PSpice. In the last part there are results of measurements of all components and the whole combo.
Class H audio power amplifier design
Spáčil, Tomáš ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Dušek, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is dealing with a plan of a low frequency ending amplifier of class H that is made of discreet parts. Content of this work is an explanation of basic terms and classes of ending levels low frequency amplifiers. The ending level in class H is written in detail including its possible kinds of solution. The own solution of amplifier in class H is completed by simulation and areal connectors to individual parts. The aim of this work is a prototype of a final look of a device with record about measurement of its basic qualities and their evaluation.
Solar charger with embedded accumulator
Háněl, Petr ; Dušek, Martin (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The mobile devices are under rapid development today and thereby they put still more challenging requirements on charging technologies. The thesis deals with design and development of an off-line charger device for travel use. It is based on an accumulator that is being charged continuously using a solar cell. Alternatively the accumulator can be charged using a standard USB port. One of the key requirements on the device was simplicity of its circuitry in order to make the device cheaper and more reliable. The device is able to supply any mobile device that is using a standard USB port.
Precision Ranging Using Ultrasound Waves
Hlaváč, Štěpán ; Dušek, Martin (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This project describes solutions of the precision rating using ultrasound waves with range measurement distance to 20 cm. It informs about basic properties of ultrasonic waves and its distribution in the environment. Selects the most appropriate methods for implementing distance meter. The document includes a proposal for block design and functional solutions to individual blocks of the device. This paper contains informations which was measured in the laboratory. The selected part of the design is simulated in PSpice program. It describes the implementation process and the precision of measurement.
Pulse Generator for GPR
Martínek, Luděk ; Dušek, Martin (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the question of ground penetrating radar. At first it considers the electromagnetic field and its mathematical description. Then it covers measurement of electromagnetic pulses and their processing of sub-surface ground penetrating radar. . In this thesis is also described the involvement of pulse generator with several transistors operating in avalanche breakdown. Individual transistors are compared in time domain. The received waveform is then selected the best transistor for the final generator. Then is proposed solution for the final pulse generator and its implementation. For impulsive generator is also designed and constructed increasing the DC-DC voltage converter. Finally, it is necessary to measure the time behavior of the output pulse generator.
