The Master's Thesis aims to analyze and evaluate the Vitana company at 31st December, 2013. The thesis is divided into parts that correspond with the valuation process. First of all the Vitana company is described. The valuation starts with a strategic analysis where strengths and weaknesses, market development, industry, economy and competition are identified. This is followed by a financial analysis that explains the past of the Vitana company. To determine the value of the company it is necessary to define generators of value and make their prognosis. After that the financial plan is drawn up. Determining the value is accomplished by using three valuation methods: valuation by using DFCFF, valuation by using EVA and book value.
Optimizing tax liability of a business entity

The Master's thesis is concerned with optimizing the tax costs and tax expenditures of sole proprietor or legal entity businesses. Main objective of this thesis is to introduce the tax cost and tax expenditures, which can be optimized, as widely as possible and to analyze the most important methods of tax optimalization relevant to most business entities. To achieve this objective the thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on a definition of tax, tax system of the Czech republic including more detailed descriptions of income taxes and value added tax, effects of taxation on an enterprise and reasons for tax optimalization related to it and last but not least the thin line between tax avoidance and tax evasion. The practical part introduces through verbal description and practical examples the most important methods of tax optimalization relevant to most business entities, i.e. income tax and value added tax. Finally the thesis deals with international tax planning and methods of cash flow management connected with tax administration.
Valuation of Rodinný pivovar BERNARD a.s.

The aim of this thesis is to estimate the value of company Rodinný pivovar BERNARD a.s. for owners using the income approach at the date of 31st December 2013. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the methods and procedures of valuation. The practical part consists of the company profile, strategic analysis, financial analysis, financial plan and the final valuation of the company. Analysis of the previous development of the company is conducted for the period 2009 - 2013. The financial plan was drawn up for the period 2014 - 2018. Company was valued using discounted cash flow method in the variant of free cash flow to the firm. At the end of the thesis there was carried out valuation by the book value method for purposes of comparison with the valuation made by discounted cash flow method.
Evaluation of company Intersnack a.s.

The aim of this master's thesis named Evaluation of company Intersnack a.s. is to estimate market value of the firm as of 31. 12. 2013 for the management needs based on public available data. The thesis written as expert report is divided into several chapters. In the first part are elaborated strategic and financial analyzes. On the results from these two analyzes author should state that company fulfills going-concern principle. Next were prepared value drivers on which base was created financial plan for years 2014 - 2018. For the final evaluation were used yield methods, specifically discounted cash-flow to the firm and economic value added. The result of this master's thesis is estimation of market value of the company in the amount of 3,7 billion CZK.

Diploma thesis evaluate company HOPI POPI, a.s., to the date of 1. 3. 2015. Purpose of the valuation is to determine the company enterprise value to meet the needs of an external investor and for the better information of the leaders of the company about its performance on the market. The final enterprise value in this thesis is defined by using income approach with discounted cash flow "entity" method. Diploma thesis is divided into two major parts which is theoretical-methodologic part and analythical part. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts, principles and approaches of valuation which will be used for the final enterprise value and selection of the valuation method. The analytical part addresses the execution of strategic and financial analysis, analysis and prediction of generators of value, prognosis of financial plan and determining the final enterprise value with DCF "entity" income approach. Final enterprise value has been stated at 69 047 426 CZK. Conclusion of the thesis summarizes results, fulfillment of set goals and usability for practise.

The main goal of this master's thesis is to estimate a value of company PHOENIX lékárenský velkoobchod a.s. the largest pharmaceutical distributor in the Czech Republic as of 31st January of 2014. Information regarding the value of the company is utilized by the management of the company. First part of this thesis serves as theoretical summary of used analytical technics. The second and the most important part of this thesis focuses on estimation of the value of the company, to analyse its position on the czech market, to analyze its financial health and to prepare actual financial plan. The primary method used for evaluation of the company is free cash flow to the firm. In order to present suitable comparison, Economic Value Added method is used as well.

The goal of this Master's Thesis is to estimate the value of company Měšťanský pivovar Havlíčkův Brod, a.s. as of 31. 12. 2014. The valuation is made to inform the owners of the enterprise value. This thesis is divided to two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains basic terms and methods from field of evaluation, which will be important for the practical part. In the practical part are strategic and financial analysis, analysis and prognosis of generator value, financial plan and mainly business valuation using discounted free cash flow in the variant entity. The conclusion discusses the results of evaluation process.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to determine the market value of the company O2 Czech Republic a. s. in time when was company acquired by PPF group (31.12.2013). The aim is evaluate deal in relation to expect rentability of this investment, in relation to shares market price and in relation to other similar transactions on communication market. Thesis include the valuation itself as well as the financial and strategic analysis. On this base is create financial plan on years 2014 - 2018. The actual valuation is performed using methods DCF Equity method, market valuation, and by comparable transactions method. In conclusion are evaluate deal conditions and impact on company business in the future.

The subject of this thesis is to analyze the financial health of the company Syner, and determine the market value of the company based on publicly available information. The value of the company should provide important information for owners, whether access to the proposed takeover of foreign investors or reject the offer. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the processes and methodology of valuation, then in the practical part is introduction of company, financial and strategic analysis and valuation of the company itself.
Financial management analysis of Prague’s university teaching hospitals

This paper focuses on how all three university teaching hospitals in the city of Prague are financially managed. The aim is to describe and evaluate financial standings of these hospitals and decide which hospital is best managed from a financial point of view. To evaluate the financial position of the hospitals financial analysis will be used. Based on this analysis strengths and weakness of financial management of these hospitals can be determined. Also the methodological frame work of benchmarking will be used to determine the overall standing of the hospitals.
