Activity of educational-psychological counselling centre with focus on group re-education

The thesis focuses on the activities of pedagogical-psychological consultation centers with special attention to group re-education of children with specific learning disabilities (SLD). The first part offers a brief description of specific learning disabilities and the activities of pedagogical-psychological consultation centers. The main topic and aim of this thesis is the description of group re-education and the characteristics of its each area. This topic is supplemented by a considerate focus on the use of group re-education in pedagogicalpsychological consultation centers in Western Bohemia known as "SPUCH" - a course for second-year children (offered by the pedagogical-psychological consultation center in Klatovy). I have also included a case study of a client, who has participated in this course. Analyse logopaedics' solicitude along combined handicap

This diploma work analyses the logopaedics" care with mid-hard (heavy) up to hard (heavy) mentally affection in combination with Childs cerebral palsy. The theoretical part describes symptomatic infelicities of the speech with combined handicap, its symptomatology and diagnostic. The main emphasis insists on the area of logopaedics' therapy. This therapy is focused on the individual aspects of the therapy where are included the systems of alternative and augmentative communication. Closing chapter of theoretical part is integrated rehabilitation rated from the point of view of complex care. The applied (practical) part includes the boy's casuistic which describes the single components of logopaedics' care comprendious sorted by areas of stimulation and time period. The aim of this work was the analysis and reviewing of provided logopaedics' care until now, its complexity, suitability and the solutions of the communication.
People with intellectual disabilities in time of transition from school to employment

The diploma thesis deals with problems of people with intellectual disabilities in transition from school to employment. Introductory chapters describe intellectual disabilities and their grades, adolescence of people with intellectual disabilities, their possibilities of education and preparation for profession. Next part addressess a transitional program. The aim of questionnaire survey is to explore possibilities of practical schools and training colleges in Prague during transition of their students from school to employment. The data analysis shows that schools offer parents of students cooperation in planning the transition, futher on most of the schools are informed where their graduates leave after graduation, practical lessons take place not only in training workplace but also in business operations. The survey shows that scholls know the transitional program, but rather do not use it.
Techniques for working with paper in the working hours of teaching

The aim of the thesis is presented to demonstrate the fact that the working classes significantly affects the development of fine and gross motor skills of students with mild mental disabilities. Work is also devoted to working techniques when working with paper in the working hours of teaching elementary school. In the first chapter generally defined mild mental retardation, and characterize its main features. In the second chapter specifies the student's personality with mild mental disabilities of school age. The third chapter is devoted to the educational program for primary school in teaching the course work. Following part of the thesis are focused on specific business and technology topics that affect the development of gross and fine motor skills. Some of the topics that are presented here, I created myself, others I drew from literature. The conclusion is devoted to case studies that converge on the issue of students with mild degree of mental disability in the working hours of teaching. Enhancing parental competencies for children with developmental dysphasia

ANNOTATION: This thesis is concerned with problems of parents with children suffering from specific language impainnent, with their parental competencies and their fortification. The thesis consists of six individual chapters. The first four chapters are theoretical, aimed at definition of basic tenns such as family, disability, speech therapy, cooperation of the speech therapist with the family of a child suffering from SLI. The fourth chapter features an analysis of accessible foreign parental programmes and also a brief characterization of domestic citizen-action public providing logopaedic or other care to people with disabilities. The fifth chapter includes an own support programme for parents of children with specific language impairment. The sixth chapter is of practical orientation; it consists of an analysis of an inquiry via questionnaire. Parents of children with specific language impainnent are the respondents of this inquiry. The aim of the above mentioned inquiry is to ascertain demand for parental support courses. The subject matter of my dissertation is dealing with the probleme of life quality of mentally disabled people. Theoretical part of my dissertation defines basic concepts relating to mentally disabled people and deals with the topic of life quality. Following sentences are dedicated to providing social services legislation. The last chapter describes short history and present days of Nursing home for disabled people in Tloskov/DÚSP/. The practical part is devoted to treating my own observations, evaluations and commentaries.
The Pupil with Autism

The main subject for this diploma thesis is questions of integrating children with autism in mainstream basic schools. The aim of diploma thesis is to analyse current situation of integrated education of pupils with autism in mainstream schools in Central Bohemia Region. The analysis goes from the view of region coordinator for autism as a new institution responsible for coordination of counselling and educational services focused on clients with autism in region, and as a significant instrument for realization of the integration process. Partial aim of diploma thesis is focused on detection of factual experience of parents and assistant educators of integrated children, especially on disclosure of fundamental problems they often deal with in integration process. Diploma thesis would like to contribute to pedagogic practice in the field of integrating pupils with autism in mainstream schools by means of definition current problems to be solved in the future. Sport as a Recreational Activity for Children with Mental Retardation

The diploma work refers to children with mental retardation, particularly is targeted to possible fulfillment of their leisure time with sport. In the first part of the work basic terms concerning the topic are defined. It depicts the specifics in development of children with mental retardation focusing on their motoric progress and development in motion competences. Exercising is introduced as an advantageous leisure time activity for children with mental retardation. In the second part some organized physical activities and sport games suitable for children with mental retardation in their leisure time are suggested. Proposed units target overall motoric progress and development in motion competences essential for mastering given sport games.
Different Points of View on Children Born with Mental Disabilities

My diploma work called "Various aspects on a birth of mental disabled child" ties together with my bachelor work, which I wrote at Evangelic Theological Faculty at Charles Univerzity. In this bachelor work I was interested in the basical rights of mental disabled people. I taught the topic of a right to live. The meaning of this question grows with the developement of new biotechnology as an artificial insemination, an antenatal diagnostics, a miscarriage and a gene therapy. The other important question talks about the mother rights. These questions traditonally pronounce physicians, philosophers, theologians and sociologists of medicine. However special pedagogues should as well think about and participate in discussions about this topic. Special education comes to the new period with currently knowledges of not only human genome. That is why I target the bioethic sphere, different opinions and possibilities of special pedagogue's treating. in my diploma work, because bioethic spere touch the special education. I come out from historical point of view, from attitudes formulated in our history and from society attitudes to disabled individuals. The work of special pedagogues in this area should focus at disabled people and their parents who decided to take care of the child and at people who are just...
