Technical and economic evaluation of the use of oxygen or nitrogen as the cutting medium during laser cutting of sheet metal.
Králík, Petr ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Mouralová, Kateřina (advisor)
This thesis deals with a production issue for an engineering company - the optimal method for laser cutting. The options considered are the fusing method of cutting or the oxidising method, utilising the Lissmac SBM-M 1500 B2 equipment - designated for cleaning the oxidising a layer from the incision area. Initially, the cost of machine maintenance was calculated within a continuous production environment. Data was collected from a single month’s production and the potential savings for the processional gas were calculated through the pressure and flow values. In addition, electricity savings and the increased production capacity were calculated due to the higher cutting speed achieved by oxidizing cutting. From the gained data, a graph was created of the investment recovery time for 100%, 50% and 0% of the new created capacity use. Finally, measures for the highest profit from the investment were recommended.
Analysis and production of a part from an injection mold
Dudek, Ladislav ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to make a 3D model of the injection mold for injection moulding machine, to determine the production process and to evaluate the technical and economic aspects. The first part describes the input parameters, which need to be clarified and determined before the construction of the tool. In the second part the individual parts of the injection mold and their solutions are analyzed. The third part of the thesis deals with the creation of a 3D model of mold. The program in which the model was created and the main features of the program. The fourth part describes the production process with a description of each operation. What part of the mold is the given operation introduced, what to do with the operation and why this operation has been selected. In the fifth part, two of the production operations, namely roughing and EDM, are analyzed. The sixth part describes the technical aspects that are necessary for the construction of the tool and the evaluated economic aspect. The last part summarizes the main data from the whole work.
MODERN TECHNOLOGIES IN WIRE ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MACHINING THE METAL ALLOYS
Mouralová, Kateřina ; Karpíšek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pokorný, Peter (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The dissertation is focused on streamlining production on wire electric discharge machine during cutting metal alloys, specifically low-alloy steel quality by CSN 41 4220. The first part contains a study of the current and modern technologies EDM wire cutting. The second part is focused on identifying key parameters to influence the WEDM process, a detailed analysis of the machined surfaces of samples and wire electrodes used for cutting. The result of this work was to explore the possibility, whether by performing planned experiment and subsequent evaluation in the future to determine exactly setting the key parameters influencing the process of WEDM.
Electroerosion machining of materials used in the aerospace industry
Zubáková, Alexandra ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of electroerosion machining of materials used in the aerospace industry. The introductory part presents the layout of aerospace materials and the methods by which they can be machined. The next chapter describes the basic principles of EDM. The experimental part is focused on electroerosive cutting of NIMONIC 263 alloy. The greatest emphasis was placed on determining the influence of the cutting wire material on the rate of contamination of the surface layer of the workpiece. The quality of the machined surface was assessed depending on the used wire and the selected machining parameters.
Production of fibreglass laminate parts
Nenov, Stanislav Stojanov ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Mouralová, Kateřina (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis is specialised in production of the fiberglass part in the company Composite Components, a. s. In the introductory part the company and shortly its history and production is introduced. In the next parts composites and their dividing are described with specialisation in input materials for fiberglass production and different production technologies. Concrete producing part is described from the period of recieving the data for production of the model and moulds to production of the part. With modification of the production technology production effectiveness is achieved, which is reviewed in the technical-economic evaluation.
Conversion of manually controlled milling machine into CNC
Orság, Petr ; Zahradníček, Radim (referee) ; Mouralová, Kateřina (advisor)
In the first part of this thesis, there is a short research dealing with modernization of old-type machines. There is also given a description of main types of milling machines. The next part includes characterization and parameters of the milling machine, that is the subject to the thesis. There are to be found designes and calculations of selected units in the following part. In consideration of the character of the thesis there are not given calculations of all units. The last part deals with economical evaluation.
Machining a Rotating Part of the CNC Machine
Boda, Michal ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is a proposal how to manufacture matice pojistky. The work deals with the analysis of components, design technology, including the choice of machines and tools. The evidence is provided by manufacturing process, manual, NC program and techno-economic evaluation.
Trends in use of non-conventional technology for electrical discharge machining.
Mouralová, Kateřina ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this dissertation are future trends of electrical discharge machining in conditions of a small tool factory. In the introduction is presented the theory of non-conventional machining. The practical part is focused on valuation the current level of electrical discharge machining, the importance of the use in a tool Nástrojárna Ryšavý. It also compares the level of leading global manufacturers of electrical discharge machines and future trends of electro-discharge technology.
Electroerosive sinking of technical ceramics
Kudrna, Tomáš ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with the topic of electrical discharge machining. The first part of the thesis contains a study of the die-sinking EDM. The die-sinking EDM of the silicon carbide ceramic is realized in the experimental part of the thesis. The result of this work was to explore the influence of the EDM sinking parameters, specifically pulse current, open-voltage and pulse on-time, on the machined surface. Furthermore, the analysis of the tool electrode was made. This analysis was focused on the wear in the corners, which has key influence on accuracy of the machining. The machining time was also examined.
Design and ergonomics of hand tools
Sovják, Richard ; Prokeš, Tomáš (referee) ; Mouralová, Kateřina (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the power tools ergonomics and also on the economic impact on a sick employee in the Czech Republic. It presents the results of the characteristics of hand tools in terms of their design, usage positions and handling. It introduces current legislation and ergonomic methods, including the newly designed visual tool AAL. The tool enables ergonomic analysis of positional rotation of the limbs, torso and neck, including the input of strength and muscle parameters. AAL is integrated into Excel software with the possibility of integrating data from Rhinoceros software and the Grasshopper module, which automatically generates data. The analysis is based on 3D scans of 144 power tools that are divided into 11 groups. It analyzes 13 typical diseases and their economic impacts. From an economic point of view, the costs per sick employee are almost 57% higher compared to a healthy employee. The author's design of the ergonomic part of the tool is also part of the thesis.
