Methodology of use greywater in the selected objects
Raček, Jakub ; Pollert,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Stanko,, Štefan (referee) ; Raclavský, Jaroslav (advisor)
The concept of reusing wastewater in buildings has recently become more important. This is due to change in climatic conditions and reduction of the yield of water resources. Greywater can broadly be defined as not extremely polluted wastewater coming from basins, showers, baths, kitchen sinks and washing machines. The concept based on the use of alternative rate sources wouldn't need same strict parameters as drinking water. Dissertation engage in collecting greywater from basins, showers and wash machines separately from the other more polluted domestic wastewater at the dorms, the laundry machines, the hotels, detached houses, the swimming pools, the office buildings and other buildings. The research showed that membrane filtration meets all needed parameters of water quality and can be used in house systems where we use cleansed white water to flush toilets, watering garden or grass areas. There is still a lack of experience and documentation for such system of operation in our country. Systems of use of greywater in selected objects are detaily solved in my dissertation directed at system proposal.
Pump stations on sewerage network
Rőssová, Markéta ; Raček, Jakub (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on pumping stations on sewer network. In the theoretical part is described the construction solution and machinery equipment of pumping stations. The design of volumes and machinery of pumping stations is also solved. In the practical part are evaluated the two operated pumping stations in the municipalities of Dolní Lhota and Velenov. At the conclusion of the practical part is evaluated the volume and operation of pumping stations in these municipalities.
Alternative methods of sewer systems of municipalities
Podhrázský, Martin ; Raček, Jakub (referee) ; Raclavský, Jaroslav (advisor)
The first part of thesis focus on design of alternative sewer collection systems. Shortly is described the influence of using alternative sewers to quality of wastewater, next are described parts of pressure and vacuum sewer systems and possible ways for designing. The second part applies known for designing both pressure and vacuum sewer system in municipality Lubna, Czech Republic, and compare the cost of construction of alternative sewer systems with traditional gravity system. It is possible to reduce cost of sewer collection systems using alternative ways, mainly when in the locality are inappropriate conditions for a traditional gravity system.
Assessment of sewerage systems of urban catchments
Velikovská, Kristýna ; Raček, Jakub (referee) ; Raclavský, Jaroslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis prepares new and present knowledge of assessment of sewerage systems of urban catchments. Theoretical part of the thesis describes classical and contemporary integrated concept of draining waste water from urban catchments. In pursuance of contemporary integrated concept, there is a list of methods, which is used for monitoring conditions of sewer system, making a simulative modeling and solving of elementar tasks in water management. Practical part of the thesis uses gained knowledge to assess sewerage systems of Kladeruby nad Oslavou village. The bachelor thesis is written with respect to valid legislation.
The study of sewerage of selected municipalities
Chromík, Radek ; Raček, Jakub (referee) ; Raclavský, Jaroslav (advisor)
The author of bachelor´s thesis addrress the issue of alternative solution sewerage selested municipalities. Resolved area for this work is Nové mlýny. The author chose the construction of a nem gravitationel sewerage systém for sewage and retained the original sewerage systém for the use of drainage of rainwater from the selected area. The aim is to recommend the technically optimal and economically most advantageous variant of the village of Nové Mlýny according to the requirements of the operator
Energetic utilization of wastewater
Žáček, Jan ; Raček, Jakub (referee) ; Hlavínek, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis presents various methods of energetic utilization of wastewater. It shows that wastewater is source of heat energy that has not been used yet. The thesis focuses mainly on heat recovery from wastewater from sewer bypass by modular heat exchangers. Design of heating of polyfunctional building from bypass from main sewer in Brno is developed. The main finding is that wastewater as low potential source of energy can together with heat pump be not only used for heating and heating of domestic hot water but also for cooling of polyfunctional object. Part of work is also technical-economical assessment by the NPV method.
Hydraulic calculation of sewage system in Lipůvka
Balas, Jan ; Raček, Jakub (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on hydraulic assessment of Lipůvka´s sewer system, done by dynamic rainfall-runoff simulation model. Because of this fact, chapter about mathematical models is included. Commonly used programs to this actions are listed as well. Next part of the thesis describes monitoring campaign, which was done in Lipůvka and results are used to calibrate the simulation model. Hydraulic assessment of sewer system by this calibrated model was done.
Decentralized collection and treatment of wastewater from settlements up to 200 PE.
Petřík, Jiří ; Raček, Jakub (referee) ; Hlavínek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to outline the issues of a decentralised system of drainage. The theoretical part of the bachelor’s thesis is processed in the form of research and focuses mainly on the possibilities of disposal of sewage and rain waters. Describes the possibility of using the treated sewage effluent, the possibility of delaying the rainwater at the place of deposition and their use. In this bachelor’s thesis is also listed technology related with this issue. In the practical part of the bachelor’s thesis deals with the proposal of the technical-economic study of a decentralised system of drainage of the municipalities Koberovice, Lísky and Lohenice, which are located in the cadastral territory of Koberovice in the district Pelhřimov.
Retention basins and sewers on the sewer network
Kolář, Tomáš ; Raček, Jakub (referee) ; Raclavský, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the design, operation and management of retention basins and retention sewers to sewerage networks. There is also mentioned their purpose, function and use, their distribution, building design, construction and equipment. Below are two specific examples of retention reservoirs in Brno and short summary of number of retention ponds in selected Czech cities. Part of the work is a model example of calculating the amount of retention basins and retention ditches for the village of Horní Lapač.
Sewage connections to the sewer network
Novotný, Jiří ; Raček, Jakub (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis comprehensively focuses on the issue of sewerage connection. The first part deals with technical sewerage connections approaches according to the applicable standards and laws. Secondary the thesis describes a procedure of furnishing sewerage connections. The following part emphasizes the steps which has do be done by a builder to get a permission from the construction authority and the operator to approved the connection. The last part compares selected city standards that clearly define the rules for a construction and an operation of the sewer system in the area.
