Origins of the japanese invasion to China
Čížek, Petr ; Maršálek, Jakub (advisor) ; Labus, David (referee)
This thesis describes the beginning of the Second Sino-Japanese War, which occurred in 1937 and ended in 1945. In its first part the thesis describes the history of the mutual relations between China and Japan in the preceding decades. The main focus lies on the analysis of the so-called Marco Polo Bridge Incident, which is considered to be the beginning of the war, and on the description of the following Japanese offensive military operations. The thesis ends with the fall of Nanjing and the so-called Nanjing Massacre.
Life and work of Kurt Jooss
Čížek, Petr ; NĚMEČKOVÁ, Elvíra (advisor) ; GREMLICOVÁ, Dorota (referee)
The goal of the bachelor thesis is a description of life of a dancer and choreographer Kurt Jooss, whose pedagogical activity significantly impacted entire next generations of artists. Essential part of the thesis dedicated to the description of a political and cultural situation of the society at that time, which fundamentally influenced his life and artistic work. Through the gradual learning about Kurt Jooss´ life we are getting a complete picture not only about his pedagogical contribution, but also about his influence on another key personality of the dance theatre history, Pina Bausch.
Design of hip joint simulator
Žonda, Peter ; Čížek, Petr (referee) ; Vrbka, Martin (advisor)
The master's thesis is concerned with design and execution of an experimental acetabulofemoral joint simulator. Its primary use is the study of lubrication film thickness in hip implants. The work first describes available hip joint simulators, which simulate particular joint positions. Next, the thesis proposes author’s own designs and solutions. The result is a produced device allowing for dynamic change of load in simulation of hip joint flexion and extension as set by ISO standard. Contact is recorded by an optical apparatus composed of a high-speed camera and a microscope. The work also includes the initial testing experiment and the complete design documentation of the device including electrical wiring diagrams.
Design of heatsink for electrical component of automotive headlight
Větrovec, Ondřej ; Čížek, Petr (referee) ; Samek, František (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with the cooling of electronic component. The work focuses on contemporary design of LED signal functions used in modern automotive headlamps and a on new design solution for the DRL function in the headlamp Skoda Octavia, including the use of alternative materials for cooler.
Mechanical upper limb prosthesis
Koukal, Ondřej ; Čížek, Petr (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This thesis elaborates on design and fabrication of an artificial mechanical upper limb prototype for transradial amputations, i. e. for patients with stump between elbow and wrist joints. The artificial limb is designed for use in a wide spectrum of patients. Therefore, the main components are designed to be applicable to smaller as well as larger hand dimensions. The artificial mechanical limb is designed to be controlled by the other hand of a patient and enables grasping of objects via cylindrical and hook grip. Fingers are driven by tension springs and can be locked in extension. Clenching can be initiated by pressing a button, which unlocks the fingers, thus an object can be grasped. Wrist joint is adjustable when pressed a release button. Forearm joint is locked by preloaded spring. The lock of the forearm joint is released by sufficient torque. New position of the forearm joint is locked automatically when the torque is not being applied. Prototypes of the artificial mechanical upper limb were manufactured by using of rapid prototyping technologies (FDM, SLM) as well as CNC milling machine. All parts of the artificial limb were designed with regard to manufacturability by conventional methods such as casting, injection and the like. The artificial limb prototype had been designed on 3D data basis of a specific patient, who already has tested the prototype. Following materials were used on the prototype: ABS plastic, SikaBlock M940 polyurethane, aluminium and 316L stainless steel.
Design of Testing Bench for Determination of the Operating Parameters of the Magnetic Shaft Sealing
Kubík, Michal ; Čížek, Petr (referee) ; Roupec, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of testing stand for operating parameters magnetic seal. In this thesis was done analysis of construction magnetic circuit and analysis of operating parameters. This work contains FEM analysis of magnetic circuit and experimental tune up. The results of this analysis will be used for design magnetic circuit and geometric sensitivity analysis in test stand.
Heating air generator
Hodás, Ladislav ; Čížek, Petr (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
This thesis focuses on design of device to generate hot air. This generator is supposed to be used to perform thermal tests for a company. Introduction summarizes general knowledge about ventilators, heat transport in air flow, and pressure losses. Main part of the thesis describes development of the generator. Initial design was followed by selection of suitable solution variants, design of major parts of the generator supported by calculations and overall conception of the generator. Final part summarizes the achievements and economic analysis.
CFD simulation of exhaust gases flow through the wastegate of petrol engines turbocharger
A modele of modern introductory training session for football players U18
ČÍŽEK, Petr
Watched football players were - older adolescents from SK Dynamo U18 České Budějovice. To test the performance of the players were used Unifittest 6 ? 60. It was performed as an input and also output test to evaluate the performance of the players. Tested group worked by the proposed battery of exercises, called dynamic stretching incorporated into the initial part of the training. Duration of the stretching aplication was six months. The results were reported in the written form to the charts.
