Jahrhunderts" Alfreda Rosenberga. Katolická církev pokusům o ovlivňování ze strany nacionálně...

Non-Catholics in the domaine of Trebic in the 17th and 18th century
Honč, Petr ; Čechura, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Petráček, Tomáš (referee)
This research is primarily focused on the non-Catholic population in the domain of Trebic in the 17th and 18th century. A brief summary of the previous religious development in the above mentioned domain during the Reformation period and Thirty Years' War enables us to prove, that falling apart of the confessional identity had already been registered before the beginning of systematic recatholisation. Until then, the domain of Trebic had been a favourite refuge for the refugees from Bohemia. The description of the process of recatholisation in the town of Třebíč and villages of its domain is one of the key topics of this research. Another focus of this work is to demonstrate the contribution of the parish network in the frame of the Třebic's deanship, which was a key success factor for the recatholisation process. A second main topic, and a core issue of this work, is the situation in the domain after the October 1781, when Joseph II. put into effect the Edict of Tolerance. The emphasis is put on the adhesion of non-Catholics to one of the Protestant confessions tolerated by the State and on the challenges emerged as a follow-up. A rupture between Protestants regarding the choice between the Augsburg and Helvetic Confession almost ended hopes for their own congregation.

The History of the Parish in Most 1945-1990
Hausner, Martin ; Petráček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Stříbrný, Jan (referee)
The aim of this work was to describe the history of the parish in Most in years 1945 - 1990. This period comprises almost half a century, which was full of dramatic events in the state, political, municipal, parochial and private area. The defeat of the Nazi ideology occured at the beginning of this period and the fall of the atheistic ideology at its end. Also the parish in Most was afflicted by many changes and strokes during this period. Firstly, it was the post- war terror against German inhabitants and their violent removal. Shortly afterwards occurs the communist putsch, which leads to the initially hidden and soon afterwards to the open fight against Churches. The Church becomes a slave to the supervision and the authority of state officials. The parish in Most with its churches is almost symbolically in the spirit of the time swept off from the earth's surface at this time and the asylum was founded in a small parish hall. After nearly twenty years of living in the constant provisional arrangement has the parish its own church again. The totalitarianism is at the end of its power and the democracy is coming. The parish in Most is learning to live and to breath freely after many decades of the lack of the freedom. Keywords History, church, parish, churches, priests

Radoměřská, Terezie ; Petráček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Stříbrný, Jan (referee)
The relationship between the Catholic church and the National socialism in Germany on the eve of World War II The diploma work focuses on the events in the German Empire in the period from Adolf Hitler's takeover of power in 1933 until the outbreak of world war II. The aim of my work is to depict the relationship between the Catholic church and the National socialist government in Germany. The work brings out the key moments of the national socialist program and the substantial statements of its representatives which refer to religion and the Church. And at the same time very severe condemnation of the Church. After takeover of power in 1933 the National socialists made the Imperial concordat. In the years that followed the Concordat was systematically being broken, the Church pursued and its activities consistently destroyed. The work outlines the gradual liquidation of the political Catholicism, the Centre and Bavarian folk parties, liquidation of the professional and youth associations and the Hitlerjugend step-up. It follows the effort to discredit the Church with preachy means which were pursued against it. On the background of these repressions the work deals with the development of the attitudes and official statements of the German bishops. Ranging from the condemnation before the year 1933 through...

Parish history in Ústí nad Orlicí and the Roman Catholic Church Czechoslovakia in years 1927-1963
Sklenář, Michal ; Pullmann, Michal (advisor) ; Šebek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Petráček, Tomáš (referee)
The dissertation shows one of the possible portraits of the history of the Roman Catholic Church in Czechoslovakia between the years 1927-1963. On the example of Václav Boštík (1897-1963), the dean in Ústí nad Orlicí between the years 1934-1942 and 1945-1961, the thesis focuses on continuities and discontinuities in the history of the local Roman Catholic parish. The presented analysis combines the socio-historical, microhistorical and biographical approach, by means of which it shows pastoral and other strategies of dean Václav Boštík - an ecclesiastical administrator and statutory representative - in various situations during the first two-thirds of the twentieth century. Local events are interconnected with the context of Czech ecclesiastical history at the statewide and diocesan level as well as with a broker context of Church history. Key words 20th century, the Roman Catholic Church, Czechoslowakia, communism, Ústí nad Orlicí, Václav Boštík (1897-1963)
