Role of the Czech Republic in the International Trade

This Bachelor Thesis titled Role of the Czech Republic in the International Trade deals with a current situation of Czech exporters on international markets and with new opportunities which arise for them nowadays. At the very beginning the foreign trade policy of the Czech Republic is defined, it is presented how the government can influence its exporters and to what extent this role has been affected by the membership in the European Union. Also, the immense importance of the biggest trading partner of the Czech Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, is described and some new markets with a great potential are defined. Finally, the given data are supported with concrete information from a particular company and therefore the company Elitex Nepomuk, a.s. and its figures are introduced.
Monetary policy of the Federal Reserve during the Great Depression and during the global financial crisis

This work addresses the monetary policy of the Federal Reserve System during the Great Depression and during the global financial crisis. It compares it from the perspective of the theory of business cycles of the two prominent schools of economics - the Keynesians and the Austrian School. This work explains the evolution of the Fed as an institution, the development of its monetary instruments, and in particular points to the shifts between various schools. This work offers a better understanding of the issues of state intervention in the economy.
Analysis of the eurozone crisis with impacts on the Czech Republic

Eurozone debt crisis is a current issue in the world today. It constantly intervenes in the world economy and modifies the picture of the economy of the 21st century. Its beginnings reminds the global financial and economic crisis, however, it differs in impacts that are bigger. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is not only to evaluate the causes that led to the formation of the debt crisis in Europe, but also to exclude or confirm the claim that the introduction of common currency has caused problems of this magnitude. It also deals with the size of impacts that the crisis had to this point the eurozone and the most affected member states of the eurozone and adjudicates the acquisitions that have been taken in the fight against it. The last section focuses on the evaluation of development in the Czech Republic from macroeconomic perspective and define impacts of the crisis on the Czech economy.
Export opportunities and risks in BRICS countries

Group of economic cooperation BRICS is nowadays important world player in field of trade and politics. In this thesis group of economic cooperation BRICS is being threat as complex group. Next part of this thesis is focused on every member of group of economic cooperation BRICS (Brazil, Russian federation, India, China and South Africa) separately. First part is focused on origin, history, common goals and future of BRICS. Second part is dealing with every member of this group alone. The main purpose of this thesis is to evaluate and to analyse potential export and investment opportunities in BRICS countries. In next part there is a focus on risks, which are directly related to BRICS countries. Trade relations of every member of BRICS are described as well.
The monetary policy of the world's central banks in the context of the global financial crisis

The main aim of this work is the global financial crisis between the years 2008 and 2009. Specifically, the work is focused on the analysis of the measures taken to implement the monetary policy of the central banks. The steps of the subjects are analysed, compared and summarised at the end of work. The work refers to the causing effect of the measures on chosen macroeconomic indicators.
The risks of conducting business on the Indian market (selected issues)

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the risks of the Indian market and characterize their impact on the companies conducting business with or on the Indian market. The topic is viewed from the perspective of the foreign firms, where the point of view of the Czech companies is stressed. The introductory part of the thesis gives general overview of major risks which the companies are facing in the international business field. The main part is dealing with three categories of risks on the Indian market, namely the country risks, risks related to the business environment and the risks of cooperation with the Indian business partners.

This bachelor thesis deals with the influence of the Great Depression of the 30's on the economy of the United States of America. The thesis examines the causes of the Great Depression in terms of the main economic theories, analyzes the first days of the crisis and its impact on key macroeconomic indicators of the USA. In its final section it compares identical and different features of the Great Depression and the current world crisis. Method of analysis and method of comparison were used in this bachelor thesis.
US banking sector during financial crisis

This bachelor thesis looks into the financial crisis which began aproximately before 7 years in United States of America caused by the burst of the mortgage bubble. The main goal of this thesis is to explain and describe the fall of Too big to fail institutions in the banking sector. This thesis is coherent, however, it does not provides all the information about every event. Which occured during financial crisis. The final thesis has three main chapters. First familiarize us with causes of mentioned financial crisis. It describes main players who will be mentioned thorough the thesis. It also covers mortgage bubble, it's burst and problems attached to it. This section also pays close attention to financial instruments, mortgages and derivatives. In the second part the origin of events caused by bubble burst and it's impact on troubled institutions are described. Last chapter covers more institutions affected and tries to show and explain the solving proces from the US government to save these institutions.
Influence of euro on German economy

Abstract Euro, as common currency is one of the biggest and the most ambitious projects in history of monetary integration. The aim of this thesis is to analyze an influence of euro on German economy. In the first part is analyzed history and formation of euro area. It describes the beginning of monetary integration from first thoughts until today. The second part of this thesis is dedicated to analysis. Objects of investigation are macroeconomics indicators. The goal of analysis is to find out if euro influenced German economy and if so, how. The main effort is to evaluate which parts of the economy influenced euro positively and which negatively.
Analysis of the Balance of Payments of Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis analyses the balance of payments of the Czech Republic since its accession to the European Union, in the period 2004-2014. The term "balance of payments" is defined in the theoretical part of the thesis, so is its horizontal and vertical structure and also the theory of the external economic balance. The theory of balance of payments is described according to the fifth and also the sixth edition of the Manual of the International Monetary Fund (BPM). The analytical part of the thesis describes particular accounts in the observed time period with reference to changes in trends. In this chapter is also assessed the impact that the accession to the European Union had on the external economic balance of the Czech Republic. The final chapter is devoted to a case study of the foreign exchange intervention made by the Czech National Bank in November 2013.
