Diploma thesis in its theoretical part deals with the information about architecture of organization in general, also individually about each of four important parts of organization and defines theory of mergers. The practical part is about particular firm, which was part of the merger, and its architecture. It characterized changes in the firm and is completed by opinions and attitudes of employees with whom I did the interview.

Usage of time management tools in practice

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the available time management tools to evaluate the market and that are used in practice and most popular. The first part describes the existing principles of time and perception of time in terms of individuals and groups. A separate subsection is devoted to defining the concept of time management and description of the generations of time management. The second part is no longer specifically mentioned time management tools available on the Czech market. They are divided into two categories, and the devices used to control the time and the methods and principles of time management. The third part focuses on the evaluation questionnaires, which aimed to determine the use and popularity of time management tools. Specific findings and evaluation are summarized in the final part of the work.

National cultures research and their comparison

This thesis focuses on intercultural comparison issue. In the first part, essential parts of cultural comparison are discussed, as the consideration of future way and meaning of national cultures. Next, the relationship between national and organizational culture is described and recent intercultural researches are assessed. On this theoretical framework, the Swedish culture research is based. The main benefit of the research is the subjective comparison method that describe in detail position of Swedish culture compared with another. At the end, the Swedish national culture results are gently transferred to organizational culture. The goal of this paper is contemporary assessment of Swedish culture and topics suggested for next research.

Organizational behavior of different generations

Topic of this diploma thesis is organizational behavior of various generations with focus on the youngest generation which is present in the workplace. This generation is called Generation Y. The goal is to prove or overcome presumption that Generation Y is very different from previous generations, has different values, working and life style and that organizations will have to put a lot of effort to be able to manage this generation effectively. Thesis include description of graduate strategy which is implemented at Hewlett-Packard. In the end is overall recommendation for companies how effectively lead Generation Y and specific recommendation for Hewlett-Packard, related to current company strategy.

Proposal Process Management in the company Avex

Thesis deals with application of process management in a selected company. The first chapters outline the situation in the area of process management. Dealing with the history of process management, then describe the general processes that take place in companies, and a procedure in which the company usually introduces process management. The second part attends to application of process management in to company AVEX. First there is the company description, the SWOT analysis, from which come business objectives. The last part deals with the practical application of process management.

Comparison of Japanese and Czech management in company Toyota Tsusho

Life in multicultural corporations, especially Japanese culture integration, is currently one of most discussed and watched topics. Main goal of diploma work is to investigate what scale of Japanese and Czech culture interaction for international corporation can bring the fruit and be helpful or how can appeal as a barrier of Japanese company growing on Czech territory. In literary recherche are described four major parts of problematic investigation: human resource, decision procedures, information share and communication, ethnocentrism In next part are explained typical Japanese tools used in management in Japan. There are explained on examples advantages and disadvantages applying them in Europe condition. In last section there is provided questionnaire to compare Czech and Japanese management in Toyota Tsusho, main parts: character profiles, leading stiles, expert knowledge, soft skills, manager performance and company culture. On the end in conclusion was verified for main thesis established in the beginning of diploma work.
