Web Application for Graphical Description and Execution of Spark Tasks
Hmeľár, Jozef ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with Big data processing in distributed system Apache Spark using tools, which allow remotely entry and execution of Spark tasks through web inter- face. Author describes the environment of Spark in the first part, in the next he focuses on the Apache Livy project, which offers REST API to run Spark tasks. Contemporary solutions that allow interactive data analysis are presented. Author further describes his own application design for interactive entry and launch of Spark tasks using graph repre- sentation of them. Author further describes the web part of the application as well as the server part of the application. In next section author presents the implementation of both parts and, last but not least, the demonstration of the result achieved on a typical task. The created application provides an intuitive interface for comfortable working with the Apache Spark environment, creating custom components, and also a number of other options that are standard in today's web applications.
Information System with XSLT Templates
Mazura, František ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The goal of this work is to create a universal framework for small and medium information systems. For resolving this problem I use the PHP language together with the XSLT sheets and the REST architecture. The framework provides a fast creation of information systems using XSLT, AJAX and the possibility of a remote access by an API. The main result is a fast framework with a simple modularity.
Methods for Graph Mining and Their Use in an IS for Historians
Kapavík, Radim ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma work presents design and implementation of web information system for historians (called Electronic Encyclopaedia of History) with data model based on semantic network and of several tools for data analysis in such IS, using graph algorithms and graph mining methods.
Mining Multiple Level Association Rules
Nguyenová, Thanh Lam ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with multiple level association rules mining. The aim of this work is to focus on available algorithms for mining multiple level association rules and to implement an application with a graphical user interface that will demonstrate the functionality of these algorithms. Five algorithms based on the Apriori algorithm were chosen. Experiments with each algorithm were performed using the application and the results were compared and evaluated at the end of the thesis.
Information Extraction from Web Pages
Bukovčák, Jakub ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This master thesis is focused on current technologies that are used for downloading web pages and extraction of structured information from them. The paper describes available tools to make this process possible and easier. Another part of this document provides the overview of technologies that can be used for creating web pages. Also, there is an information about development of information systems with web user interface based on Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE) platform. The main part of this master thesis describes design and implementation of application used to specify and manage extraction tasks. The last part of this project describes application testing on real web pages and evaluation of achieved results.
Configuration and Reservation System for Concert Halls
Sikora, Vít ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
This paper describes the implementation of a web application that enables configuring events in concert halls and defining sections and seats in those halls. Furthermore, application can run in a mode for end users that enables placing reservations in previously defined halls. Certain emphasis is placed on customizability so that it would be easy to integrate this application into an existing system. Implementation is divided into server part (REST API) realized using PHP 7 with Restler framework and to client part built as a single page application using modern Javascript (ECMAScript 2016) with React framework and transpiled to common Javascript and HTML using Webpack and Babel.

Topic of this master's thesis is a summarization of the documents on the web. First, it deals with the issues of acquiring text from the web using wrapper. An overview of wrappers used as an inspiration for the future implementation is stated. This paper also includes various methods for creating summary (Luhn`s, Edmundson`s and KPC) from the text data. Application design for the text data extraction and summarization is also part of this paper. Application is based on Java platform and Swing graphic library.
Visualization of XML
Hernych, Radim ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Chmelař, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis was to study XML and its transformations, identify possible problems of displaying general XML document and to create graphical tool that provides interactive visualization and editing of XML document.
