Evaluation of Low - treshold services for children and youth in Hradec Králové

My diploma thesis deals with Low-threshold services for children and youth and with fulfilling of the standards for quality in social services. Firstly I analysed problems of leisure time, historical events in the development in Low-threshold services for children and youth and binding documents for social workers. These problems are also discussed in relevance to the social services law. I mentioned the principles of low-threshold, aims of these establishments, target group and the whole process of this programme. One chapter deals with the management and financing and with social workers, their qualities, competences and supervision as the aide in self-education, and beneficiaries of social services and their characteristics. What threatens these beneficiaries are socio-pathological phenomenons, the most important ones are listed and I added the prevention. I described one mentioned establishment, which employs volunteers. For the evaluation of fulfilling of standards in social services I have chosen two low-threshold services for children and youth from Hradec Králové, where I have found if the standars are fulfilled or not by means of studying of methodology, observations and interviews with workers and beneficiaries. For conclusion I suggested some improvements which could be used in these establishments.

Specifics of work to foreigners living in the Czech Republic, who are at risk of domestic violence

The bachelor work entitled "The specifics of working with foreigners at risk of domestic violence, ways of helping foreigners at risk domestic violence, who use the services of a community center InBaze Berkat" has in its theoretical part mainly explanation of the concept of domestic violence and basic information on this issue. Then it presents options for further assistance to vulnerable persons in the Czech Republic, outline legislative of residence of foreigners and a specific work with foreigners at risk of domestic violence in the Czech Republic. Empirical part of this work consists of a brief presentation of the community center InBaze Berkat and its programs for foreigners. Then follows the overview of cultural mediators from the four most represented communities of foreigners in the CR and four articles about specifics of how corresponding culture of these mediators deals with the issue of domestic violence. This section also includes a presentation of the project of multicultural women's groups and interviews with well-known therapist Vera Roubalova-Kostlánova, which has long focused therapeutic work with foreigners and their families, among others in the context of domestic violence. Charitable organizations such as a significant element of aid for education in South India

The thesis "Charitable organizations, as an important element in helping schools in South India" discusses what is currently the situation in education in India and how charities can contribute to its improvement, and therefore that this role of government in his country doesnot so much attention it would deserve the Indian population. At the beginning of his work dealing with the issue of psychological personality formation and describe the conditions in which Indian children grow up, the negative aspects of India and its education. The thesis also deals with the current reference of great spiritual teachers of India, explores his life's work, demonstrates a unique and sophisticated system of education at the same time proposing a solution, how can India improve their current situation. The practical part deals with ethnographic research charities from South India, which created a unique concept to help abandoned street children in India and has already saved many lives and children's souls. In my work I come from personal knowledge and experience of Bindu civic association, which I founded in 2010 to support the education of children in southern India.

Problematic situations during pregnancy and a baby's first year from the man's point ofview

My bachelor thesis "Problematic situations during pregnancy and a baby's first year from the man's point of view." rises question of fatherhood during problematic situations in life. My discovery was, that most fathers, which filled my questionnaire, has considered their situation problematic, during the pregnancy and first year of baby's life. In futher research I tried to find out wheather or not, fathers would be willing to contact and try an advisory services and found out that they mostly wouldn't. Due to surveys lack of representativeness I conclude this result as higly suggestive which is opening doors for an other work rather then closing this matter as resolved.
