Making of movie figurine replica
Petřík, Michal ; Myška, Martin (referee) ; Janský, Vojtěch (advisor)
This thesis is focused on an overview of artistic casting in a form of chronological order of individual epochs in the mankind’s arts, in which artistic casting had occurred. Furthermore, a brief overview of materials used the most in artistic casting is added to this thesis. Practical part of this thesis is dedicated to various ways of production of a movie figurine replica based on a copy of children’s toy.
Manufacture and properties of heat resistant alloys
Majchrák, Aleš ; Myška, Martin (referee) ; Záděra, Antonín (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with heat resistant alloys, specifically with superalloys and high entropy alloys. The theoretical part includes distribution of those alloys by their chemical composition, description of their properties, microstructure and applications. Experimental part is devoted to cobalt alloy UmCo50. Aims of this part include metallurgy process description of this alloy, verification of vacuuming time influence on decarburization, microstructure observation and its conclusion.
Production, structure, mechanical properties and usage of martensitic stainless steels
Zíka, Marek ; Myška, Martin (referee) ; Blažík, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with issues of production, mechanical properties and structure of martensitic stainless steels. Further a thesis is focused on heat treatment, which significantly improves mechanical properties of steels, and usage of this materials. In experimental part is solved influence of chromite sand on surface structure cast. On the images of structure of casting samples can be seen, that the chromite doesn’t have influence on surface structure.
Furnaces for heat treatment of metals
Pražan, Jan ; Myška, Martin (referee) ; Záděra, Antonín (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on construction of furnaces for heat treatment of metal. The classification and description of heat treatment of steel, cast iron, non-iron metal and their alloys was based on literature review. The description of the key ways of temperature transfer is provided: by conduction, convection, and radiation. The furnace type’s distinction was created according to the types of construction, heat treatment, and its purpose. The main focus was on chamber furnaces construction and their use. In addition the performance calculation, insulation types overview, ways of heating, temperature distribution, and also heat measurement, and regulation needed for treatment are presented. The thesis provides also assessment of advantages and disadvantages of insulation types and selected ways of heating (i.e. flame and resistance heat sources).
Production of turbine wheel with investment casting
Fendrich, Tomáš ; Ostratický, Marek (referee) ; Myška, Martin (advisor)
TThis bachelor thesis is devoted to the production of turbine wheels by the method investment casting. It mensions the basic principles of investment casting, description of production of molds for wax models, choice of wax blends, materials used in the manufacturing of shells and description of the most used materials for casting of the turbine wheel itself. Also a short overwiev of vacuum casting technologies is presented. In the end of the thesis turbine wheel is casted from material A 890 Gr4A.
Manufacturing, use and properties of duplex austenitic-ferritic steels
Klapetek, Václav ; Blažík, Petr (referee) ; Myška, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on stainless duplex austenitic-feritic steels. The first chapter is focused on mechanical and technological properties, microstructure and chemical proposition with its impact on corrosion resistance, following the introduction to the issue. Intermetallic phases and their effect on properties are also described. Second chapter deals with their usage in several industry spheres, such as petrochemical industry, paper-producing, transport and storage of chemicals etc.
Manufacturing, use and properties of duplex austenitic-ferritic steels
Cunda, Ondřej ; Blažík, Petr (referee) ; Myška, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is a literary research focused on duplex austenitic-ferritic steels. The thesis describes structure, chemical composition, production, mechanical, physical and technological properties. The work includes an overview of the most commonly used duplex steels and their use.
Queuing theory and virtual factory by using mathematical models
Myška, Martin ; Klimeš, Lubomír (referee) ; Mauder, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the modelling of a production line. The topology of the line is based on the real production line of BOSCH DIESEL s.r.o. – Jihlava company. Simulations have been made using Matlab-Simulink-SimEvents software. The created model represents a pilot simulation of the manufacturing process. The model allows to set a deterministic or stochastic approach and use of an auxiliary worker for planning machine maintenances and finding the bottlenecks in the production. As a pilot version the model is simplified, e.g. the short breaks of operators are neglected. The simulation results and comparisons are described in detail later in this document. In order to bring the simulation closer to the real manufacturing process, future improvement options are mentioned.
Influence of chemical composition, casting temperature and the used deoxidation on technological properties of austenitic chrome-nickel steels
Myška, Martin ; Dulava, Martin (referee) ; Záděra, Antonín (advisor)
The thesis deals with austenitic stainless steel ČSN 42 2930, ASTM A351 CF8 and evaluates its mechanical and technological properties. The first part of this work is focused on properties of austenitic steels, it describes the process of melting and casting of steel on the basis of the realized experiments. It also deals with the mechanical properties of the used steel. The second section of the thesis is dedicated to the historical development of the maximum fluidity tests and main factors affecting the maximum fluidity of alloys. Maximum fluidity values have been processed on the basis of different casting temperatures of the maximum fluidity tests of the used steel. The third part of the work examines the effect of the casting temperature on the feeding distance of the used steel as well as the influence on its shrinkage rate.
Manufacture of cast iron mortar replica
Myška, Martin ; Pernica, Vítězslav (referee) ; Kaňa, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the complete production technology of mortar replica. The first part describes the historical development of mortar and pestle in Bohemia and in the world. In the second part there is the description of the technological process of production of models and the methods of molding process.
