Traffic flow modelling
Mathematical models in hydromechanics (and aerodynamics)
Ježková, Jitka ; Zatočilová, Jitka (referee) ; Nechvátal, Luděk (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is a summarizing text which deals with the state and the motion of ideal liquid and gas. The main goal is to derive Euler equations describing the flow of fluids. From these equations we can obtain Bernoulli equation that is directly used to solve problems of fluid flow. The next step is to derive the continuity equation expressing the fact that the mass is preserved in the system. In the case of ideal gas the state equation of ideal gas is added and therefore solutions of various types of tasks of hydrodynamics and aerodynamics can be achieved.
Family policy in the Czech Republic in the context of the development of fertility level
Ježková, Jarmila ; Nývlt, Ondřej (advisor) ; Fiala, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to give an overview of the population (family) development from its start in the fifties of the twentieth century until today and to suggest its possible focus in the future. In the theoretical part, the development of family and pro-population precaution in the former Czechoslovakia is described, including international context. The next thing that the theoretical part deals with is the development of the states support of families after the Velvet Revolution in the context of economical a political changes. The analytical part of this thesis deals with the development of fertility using detailed demographic data of sectional and cohort analysis. The conclusion of this paper outlines possible direction of family politics which could ease the life of families, for example in the context of the reconciliation between family and work life.
Biology and diversity of tortoise \kur{Cryptosporidium}
JEŽKOVÁ, Jana
The study was focused on biology and diversity of Cryptosporidium infecting tortoise from family Testudines. Presence of Cryptosporidium oocyst and specific DNA in faecal samples was screened by microscopy and molecular tools. Infection intensity and oocyst morphology was described in both naturally and experimentally infected hosts.
Prescription dose
JEŽKOVÁ, Jana
This work deals with the problematic of development of pharmaceutical containers with regards to history and typology of shape. Based on theoretical work a realization of a new type of container, made of ceramic cast material, has been created.
The influence of physical exercises on pregnant women on the development of labour
JEŽKOVÁ, Jana
My work deals with the topic of ``Influence of Physical Exercises during Pregnancy on the Course of the Labour{\crqq}. I decided to explore this subject when I visited a course for pregnant women. I enjoyed the lecture I attended and I was interested whether the time and efforts that the women spent on the exercises were truly worth it. Already in the Antiquity and in the Early Middle Ages people took interest in health of pregnant women and their preparation for the labour. Doctors recommended to them relaxing more, best in lying positions, and bathing in hot water, and they forbade them to bathe in cold water. Based on those recommendations we can see that today{\crq}s psycho-prophylactic preparation of pregnant women has deep roots already in the old times of the Antiquity. The main objective of physical exercises in pregnancy is a good physical and mental condition. The labour and the actual pregnancy are very demanding in terms of the physical and mental fitness, and therefore it is good to be prepared for it. Proper physical exercises help women manage the increased demands on their organisms during the pregnancy, and after the labour it helps them with easier and quicker return to their body weight before the pregnancy. The exercises especially designed for pregnant women prepare them for the labour so that it was as easy for them as possible and did not exhaust them more than it was necessary. Whether the exercise is suitable for the woman or not must be assessed by her doctor on individual basis and based on the current health condition of the woman and her foetus, on the length of pregnancy, physical condition of the woman etc. The goal of this work was to find out whether the physical exercises during the pregnancy truly influence the course of the physiological labour. In order to collect all information I carried out a quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire and I also applied information regarding the length of the labour I had acquired from the medical documentation of women after their physiological labour hospitalized in the lying-in clinic. Before I launched the research I had established a hypothesis that women who had underwent any kind of physical exercises during their pregnancy had faster course of the labour than those who had not attended any such courses. A more significant difference in the length of the labour has been recorded only in case of multiparas who had not done any physical exercises during their pregnancy. The research showed that women (multiparas) who attended any course for pregnant women during their pregnancy have shorter labour approximately by 49 minutes than those women (multiparas) who did not do any exercises. This work could help midwives who lead antenatal courses for pregnant women as part of their primary care. The information could be also provided to the medical staff who meet pregnant women in their practice (for instance in gynaecological departments) and who could deliver the information to them.
Censuses of Population and Housing in Czech Republic
Ježková, Jarmila ; Langhamrová, Jitka (advisor) ; Kozelský, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to determine the differences between censuses. The workdeals with the history and present census. Discusses the importance of a census, datarecovery options and their publication. Part of this work is aimed at working populationprojections based on data from the Census and Housing 2001, and outlines some of theother indicators.
Work rehabilitation and its security provided by labour offices in the Ústecký region
JEŽKOVÁ, Jana
Working rehabilitation is the topic of my diploma thesis. Finding out the ways of securing working rehabilitation by the employment offices in the region of Ústí nad Labem on the basis of secondary sources and qualitative talks is the aim of this diploma thesis. So far in the Czech Republic hasn´t been the system providing comprehensive solution of the health handicapped employment. The Act Employment n.435/2004, Code introduces the institute of working rehabilitation in order to provide the access and comeback to the labour market for the health handicapped. Supporting the policy which enable to employ these handicapped people is the the next objective of this institute. The employment offices as the state administration bodies provide the employment facilities in a given region, they are independent subjects, territorially organized in districts and their legislative duties contain working rehabilitation securing. Research respondents were the particular employment offices in the region of Ústí nad Labem personnel who are interested in working rehabilitation and really practise it. The region of ústí nad Labem belongs to the Czech Republic area maintaining the primacy in the field of the unemployment. The unemployment as a result of labour market functioning is one of the contemporary world problems. Labour market is very dynamic phenomenon which reacts to technological development and economic situation. Nowadayas with the essential decrease in working positions there is a decrease in free working positions reserved for the handicapped and thus the participation of the handiccaped in the total number of job applicants has been steadily increased. The integration of these handiccaped to the labour market is affected by lots of factors among others by insuficcient awareness of their needs and weak points of the contemporary functioning from the legistation and practise view point. Creating procedures which enable to make provision for needs and skills of working rehabilitation participants and thereby increasing their participation at labour market was the intention of this diploma thesis. The targets were fulfilled so there were suggested three variants which show various possibilities of the initiation of working rehabilitation process and enable the effective usage of their particular forms. The diploma thesis results can be used either by the employment offices personnel throughout the Czech Republic or by the specialized experts who are interested in the problem of working rehabilitation.
