Concept and Methodology of Water Physical Activities as a Preventive Measure against Children Obesity

The target of the bachelor thesis is to originate the concept and the methods for the motoric activities in the water for the primary school children. These activities are designed for the children's leisure time in the after - school care centre. The thesis has been composed with regard to the increasing occurrence of children's obesity and to its prevention. When compiling the thesis I studied the accessible specialized literature and used my own two-year experience from the co-operation on designing the program "We swim for our health".
Human Health from the Perspective of Integral Anthropology

The presented thesis, Human Health from the Perspective of Integral Anthropology, comprises six chapters. The introductory chapter is focused on theoretical questions of health and illness. Special focus is given to subject matter in the context of biological as well as social anthropology. These two disciplines are established in Europe as Integral Anthropology. Chapter further contains selected definitions of health. Next chapter is focused on health in relation to quality of life and meaningfulness of life. This chapter refers to the measurement of quality of life, cues and life targets, intrinsic faith and V. E. Frankl's logo therapy. The topic of the third chapter is illness of human life. This chapter discusses the concept of illness, disease and sickness, as well as bio-psychosocial and spiritual model of illness and civilization diseases. Chapter four makes up fundamental part of the work. This chapter's main focus is on primary, secondary and tertiary plane of health prevention. Furthermore various strategies for improvement of health are discussed in this chapter. Fifth chapter is dedicated to application of theory of human health in everyday school life. Professional competencies of nursery school teachers

The thesis deals with the professional competencies of teachers of nursery schools. The theoretical part focuses on contemporary education of nursery school teachers and its history in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on professional competencies. Besides defining the concept of professional competence and their various concepts. Czech education preschool teachers is contrasted with the situation in Europe. The main aim of the research part of the thesis is to describe the differences between differently educated teachers of kindergartens within the conceptualization of professional competencies. The investigation is specifically compared how teachers assess the importance of professional competence and adequacy of their development in the initial training. The survey includes pilot study and private research. Pilot study includes data collection questionnaires and structured interviews for the four case studies with differently educated preschool teachers. Own research is realized in the form of questionnaires with different educated preschool teachers and structured interviews with experts on preschool education. Relationship Between Perfectionism, Achievement Motivation, Subjective Life Satisfaction and Self-Esteem of Gifted and Non-Gifted Secondary School Students

(in English): The thesis called "The Relationship between perfectionism, achievement motivation, subjective life satisfaction and self-esteem among gifted and non-gifted high school students' aims to explore the differences between gifted high school students in natural sciences and their perrs in school achievement motivation, level of self-esteem, subjective life satisfaction and perfectionism. The thesis is divided into three parts: theoretical, methodological and empirical. The theoretical part deals with variables examined in the context of the giftedness and also outlines the results of previous studies in this field. The thesis focuses on intellectually gifted high school students in a field of natural sciences, especially in biology and chemistry. Research in tis thesis is quantitative. To detect self-esteem was used Rosenberg self-esteem scale, for detecting a level of global life satisfaction we used life satisfaction scale recommended by the OECD and the manual by The New Economics Foundation, school achievement motivation was measured by evaluation tool according to Hrabal and Pavelková (2011).
