The manufacturing of coating metal sheet part

SYKÁČEK Jiří: Production of a sheet metal part with a surface finish This project, elaborated as a part of my B2307 bachelor studies, has been compiled on the basis of a customer requirement to produce a battery cover exposed to an increased corrosion risk. It deals with the production technology of the part using various sheet metal materials of different surface finish. The most suitable solution has been found in using a cutting and a bending press. The chosen production method has been evaluated with regard to technological difficulties connected to processing thus modified sheet metal as well as with regard to economical cost of the production. Forming processes have been executed using a TRUMPF TC200R cutting press, having a nominal shearing force of 165 kN, and URSVIKEN Optiflex bending press, having a nominal pressing force of 1300 kN. Forming tools are optimally chosen according to the parameters of individual types of sheet metal. At the end the project evaluated the most convenient material to produce this part.

With consideration of available literature are introduced issues of surface treatment, cutting, bending, drawing and spinning of altered sheets including also the descriptions of some machines which apply these technologies.
The manufacture of cylindrical case by forming

Bachelor theses done within bachelor study of specialization in an Engineering technology submits a proposal of production technology of a headless bushing by shaping. A proposed production technology of graded bushing involves an operation of cut-out of semifinished material, draw of an extract with the flange and a curtailment of the flange. The draw is made on the basis of calculation in three operations with the help of holder. According to graphical documentation the extract gets the final shape in the last operation of draw. The purpose of bachelor theses is a design of technological processing and elaboration of drawing documentation of an implement for making the headless bushing.
Production of tool for pressing formed shim into flange

The Baccalaureate Thesis deals with the design of a tool for fixing of thrust rings in flanges of high pressure fuel injection pumps. The theoretical part of the final project summarizes both theory-based and cold metal and alloy working-based knowledge. Three options of fixing the thrust ring in the flange of a high pressure fuel injection pump have been developed. Based on tests carried out, the option II has been chosen for repairs of fuel injection pumps flanges since it seems to be the most advantageous one. The high pressure fuel injection pump flange is made of AlSilMgMn aluminium alloy. The thrust ring is made by C 75 sheet steel stamping according to DIN 17222 (ČSN 12081). The tool drawing was made on the basis of the best-fit technology repair option. Stamping tools are made of 19 452 steel and hardened to HRC 60-4. The assumed yearly output amounts to 7000 pieces. A special purpose machine is used for repairing fuel injection pump flanges.
The modern processes and technology of sheet metal parts forming

This bachelor thesis contains the summary of methods for unconventional sheet metal forming and tube forming, especially in flexible tools. There are some technologies such as rubber pad forming, hydroforming, high-speed forming and hot forming presented. In next part of the work there are three hydroforming methods for tube components described: low-pressure, high-pressure and pressure-sequence hydroforming. Finally there is comparison of these technologies according to several aspects by available web sources.
The utilization of elastomers in forming technologies

The project developed within the bachelor study (branch B2339-00 Mechanical engineering) deals with creation of a review of technologies in the field of forming using elastomers to manufacture desired parts. On the basis of studying literature focused on forming problems the review of these special forming methods and their brief description were developed. Further, the project includes examples of forming machines currently using these methods and appropriate products. The data were obtained from internet sources.
The manufacturing of sheet metal part by blanking technology

ŽÁK Ondřej: The manufacture of sheet metal part by blanking technology The project elaborated in frame of engineering studies branch 2307. The project elaborated in frame of bachelor studies in engineering technology field set up proposal technology of production of feed lame – a section from steel metal plate 11 320. Processual shearing was suggested on the basis of belles-lettres problem of blanking and calculation. Shearing use standardized component and is solved by form of usual rack close set on press LEN 25-C, with nominal ductile by force 250 kN. Blanking puch and blanking are made from 19 class alloyed instrumental steels, heat treated according to graphical documentation.

The theme is elaborated on the base of literary sources starting with theory of drawing rotary drawing parts, through description of modern metods used in production itself. The work includes simulation of drawing non-rotary drawing parts, analysis of defects during drawing. There is also an overview of non-traditional drawing metods including essay dealing with various drawing materials such as stainless steel or titan.
