Smartphone Based Visible Light Communication Beacon System For Internet Of Things

The article describes an application of Visible Light Communication (VLC) for Internet of Things (IoT) nodes authentication and metadata exchange. A practical use-case of presented communication system is provided and benefits of using such technique is explained. A smartphone camera based platform and advanced image processing is used for data reception and as a proof of concept implementation of presented communication technique. The future direction of the research is provided.

Network End Node for Spacial Monitoring of Atmosphere Parameters

LoRaWAN end node is often a device composed of a sensor, or actor. In this case it is sensor monitoring atmosphere parameters. This can be used to investigate atmospheric impact on Free Space Optics. This work is firstly focused on physical layer LoRa, then on LoRaWAN communication protocol. LoRaWAN device classes are also described and examples of measurable parameters can be found at the end of the theoretical part as well. The practical part describes all components, which were chosen when designing this device, and lastly it comprises the schematic design. The result is printed circuit board design.

Concept of Increase and Accessio under Roman Law and Their Transformations

125 Abstract, keywords Concept of Increase and Accessio under Roman Law and Their Transformations The thesis emphasizes the importance of original modes of acquiring ownership. Its aim is to describe the Roman law roots of the original mode of acquiring ownership which is described as increase in the Civil Code in effect. It turns out that it is not one uniform institute at all, as it might seem, because it comprises four modes of acquiring ownership identified by the Roman law theory - not only accession as the Roman law concept, but also specificatio, commixtio, confusion and acquiring fruits. The introductory chapter focuses on the structure of the Civil Code, which is compared with its predecessors and with foreign codes. Some of them emphasize the peculiarity of acquiring fruits, while others do not even introduce the concept of increase in a broader sense. In four central chapters, norms regulating the acquisition of ownership are presented, both in Roman law and in modern civil codes in the territory of the contemporary Czech Republic. The civil code proposals from the first half of the 20th century are also considered, although they have never taken effect, they illustrate the development of legal science. Extremely low cycle fatigue life of magnesium alloy

The goal of this bachelor´s thesis is to predict the fatigue life of magnesium alloy AZ61 in the very low cycle count range (less than 100), which also called extremely low fatigue (ELCF) range. Life prediction predicted by Manson-Coffin´s law is higher than the experimental values show. The main problem is that the slope of the real life curve in the ELCF range is different than the slope of the predicted one. A new regression function with additional material parameters has to be found to match the experimentally measured values. The thesis deals with the literature search of the ELCF range and models of fatigue life prediction in the said range. Furthermore, in the experimental part of the thesis, magnesium alloy AZ61 without any heat treatment has been measured for mechanical and fatigue properties. Also, the microstructure of the alloy was observed. Measured values of fatigue life in the ELCF and LCF range were fitted by a regression function proposed by L. Xue.

Postural deviations and muscular dysbalance within ice hockey players in the 2nd ice hockey league of the Czech Republic

Title: Postural deviations and muscular dysbalance within ice hockey players in the 2nd ice hockey league of the Czech Republic Objectives: The main objective of the thesis is to evaluate the effect of a regular three-month targeted compensatory program on the function of the locomotive system among the second league players in the Czech Republic by testing phasic and postural muscles and spinal mobility tests. Methods: The empirical part was processed in quantitative research in the form of an experiment in which PRE and POST tests of phasic and postural muscles and tests of spinal mobility were used. The tests were identical at the beginning and at the end of the research. A set of compensation exercises was also set up. Results: It has been discovered that the resulting muscular dysbalances and postural deviations can be corrected or eventually eliminated by means of a three-month intervention in the form of appropriate compensatory exercises. This thesis engages in characteristic honey bee's behaviour first. Subsequently it engages in project of device for honey bee activity measurement. It reasons about non-electric quantities which can honey bee's behaviour represent. Description of components which can be use for measure these quantities follows. Description is intent on possible accuracy and energy consumption of each component. Appropriate method is selected subsequnetly. In realitionship with method are selected sensors and projected controlling circuit. There is a summary of parameters of device in resume. There is also design of the parts which do not work as good as is ideal in resume.

Improvement of Bit Error Rate in Free Space Optical Link

The article describes an inovative bit error rate reduction technique principle and its practical implementation. The design is implemented in an FPGA and can be combined with other more conventional BER reduction techniques. The presented approach benefits from properties of an optical channel which a general RF channel does not have.

Mobile Android sport application

The aim of this thesis is to design a mobile application for Android OS, which will be used to organize joint sports activities. Theoretical part of this document describes the Android operating system itself, creation and basic components of application and Firebase database system. Practical part of this thesis deals with designing the application itself, including used solutions and algorithms. Main focus of the design part was on functionality and intuitiveness and also on the use of the best practice programming techniques.
