Extra-curricular Activities for Hearing-Impaired Children of an Older School Age

The dissertation brings a survey of how aurally handicapped children spend their leisure time, which possibilities of spending it educational institutions in the Czech Republic offer to them. Further the dissertation is aimed at acquirement of an extracurricular activities outline in selected elementary schools for the aurally handicapped and at disclosure of aurally handicapped children's interest to seize the offer. The theoretical part gives information about aural handicap, further there are characterized conditions of an aurally handicapped child's development and a personality, there are described ways of communication and a brief outline of care of the aurally handicapped in our country. The theoretical part end describes general information of content, forms and educational institutions besides lessons. The practical part includes factual inquiry and basic information about examined schools for the aurally handicapped in the Czech Republic. For checking the given preconditions a method of questionnaires will be used. In the dissertation end all the acquired facts will be summarized.

Free time training for hearing disability childern at boarding-school are aimed at older pupilage

The point of work is not only hearing disability children boarding training but also the means of spending free time on boarding-school. The aim is give theoretic information to hearing disabilities problems, free time activities and boarding training. In practical part by the help of interview method to get the basic information about means of spending free time on choosing boarding-school and to map interest in hobbies bidding by the boarding-school, by the school or by other institution. The result of the work should be process getting information and the interpretation of input hypothesis. KEY WORDS: Hearing disability, boarding training, free time training, older pupilage.
Mother with a hearing impairment and the care of the newborn

"The purpose of the thesis is to find out if there are adequate informations on the initial care of newborn infants, which are directly related to mothers with severe hearing impairments, or determine what other sources of information techniques used by mothers in contact with medics and other hearing people in order to obtain full-fledged information affecting the care of newborns. There are also very basic records showing the lack of information relating to the care of newborns, which should be the mother (especially primipara cares) mediated."

The Recreational Activities of Hearing-impaired Children of a Young School Age

In my diploma work I would like to focus on theme of spending free time in school for hearing impaired children (age 6-12) . The work has two parts. In the first one - theoretical- literary - I will describe types of spending free time of deaf and hard of hearing children different enviroments : family, school, out of school. In the second one -practical research - I will focus on the profile of school for hearing impaired children. I would like to touch the problem of activities (during the school time and free time) which are offered by each school for hearing impaired children aged 6-12. Aim of the research is to find out how much enviroments (family, school and out of school) affect childrens behaviors and their free time activities.
Job Opportunities for People with Hearing Defects in the Labour Market of the Prague Region

Název : Uplatnění sluchově postižených na trhu práce na území hlavního města Prahy The exercise of the aurally handicapped people on the labour market on the territory ofthe capital city ofPrague Cíle práce: Cílem diplomové práce je zaměření na problematiku spojenou s uplatněním sluchově postižených osob na trhu práce, pochopení specifik sluchového postižení a nalezení možných východisek ke zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti a zaměstnanosti této minority. Metoda: Průzk:umné šetření bylo provedeno u organizacích pro sluchově postižené, na Úřadu práce hlavního města Prahy a u dotázaných sluchově postižených respondentů. Metoda průzk:umného šetření byla provedena formou dotazníku a standardizovaného, řízeného rozhovoru. V první části šetření byla položena organizacím sluchově postižených osob jediná připravená otázka. Zde byla zvolena metoda standardizovaného, řízeného rozhovoru. Ve druhé části šetření byla použita metoda nestruk:turovaného dotazníku. Úřad práce hlavního města Prahy odpovídal na čtyři otázky. Ve třetí části šetření byl použit strukturovaný dotazník. Respondenti odpovídali na dvanáct uzavřených a polozavřených otázek, jejichž součástí byly přesné instrukce k vyplnění. Výsledky: Z první části průzk:umného šetření vyplynulo, že organizace sluchově postižených se snaží napomáhat a zlepšovat...
