Suspensions of passenger and race cars

Bachelor thesis focuses on comparing different types of axles between them with emphasis on changing the geometry during propružení.In student version of Autodesk Inventor Professional was created virtual models of axles and virtual test polygon. The output of the program are a series of images showing the axle during springing. Changes in geometry are quoted, described and analyzed. In conclusion there are compared to civil rights and race suspension.

When designing improvement of the gear lever, solution of higher stiffness and lower mass in compare to the old design has been designed while keeping a necessary safety ratio. A new attachment of the gear lever to the car´s frame which increases lateral stability of the lever has been designed.

The purpose of this thesis was to create proposal of mechanism for the tourist shutter, which could replace the original solution for projector currently used by Visteon-Autopal. The thesis was focused on background research of known solutions and proposal of new mechanism. The proposal was processed from mechanical site at first. All proposals were created to get inspiration before final design of tourist shutter for projector.

The contain of this work is to make suggestion of dynamic tests of motorbikes. I included my owns tests and results. I chose this theme because motorbikes are my hobby. I was really interested in these tests and what will the results turn out. The main part of this theme is to get the necessary values to compare dynamic parameters of motorbikes for braking and acceleration .

A brief survey on individual types of vehicle dampers is stated in the introductory part of the thesis. However, the main subject matter deals with the description of testing methods and testing devices which serve for providing measurements of the vehicle dampers characteristics.
