Augmented User Interface
Vladík, Ondřej ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Najman, Pavel (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to design and implement an augmented user interface for widget management which uses a camera-projector system. Implement also includes a library of functions for semi-automatic calibration of this system. An interface to control the widgets using markers was designed. Various markers are arranged on the desktop (desk, wall or table) . The camera captures these markers in a camera image. The position of the markers in space is then determined from the camera image . Widgets are projected on the desktop next to the markers. User can freely move those markers and the widgets will follow the markers.
Photo Explorer with Leap Motion
Sanitrák, Michal ; Najman, Pavel (referee) ; Zahrádka, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to design and create photo explorer application, which can be controlled by hand gestures using the Leap Motion sensor. Application was implemented in Java programming language using the JavaFX platform. Photo explorer has a clear user interface and can be controlled with hand gestures. The application is multiplatform and can be run on Linux and Windows.
Photo Booth
Valda, Tomáš ; Najman, Pavel (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement a Photo Booth application which will be primarily used on tablet devices. The thesis explains existing solutions, analyses its insufficiencies and concentrates on the choice of appropriate technology resources. It also describes the way of implementation of the external payment processing with the usage of a private virtual server and following communication with database. Constituent part of this work is a design of user interface. The outcome is a functional prototype of the application ready to be used.
Data Projector Drawing with Leap Motion
Cilip, Peter ; Najman, Pavel (referee) ; Zahrádka, Jiří (advisor)
Purpose of this bachelor´s thesis is to design interface for application, that is using projector and sensor leap motion. Application is divided to 2 applications, calibration and drawing. Designed interface should be implemented in one of optional programming languages. Thesis is focused on calibration and calibration methods used in computer vision and drawing application. The result of work is multiplatform application written in C++ programming language and Qt library, that uses leap motion and projector to draw.
Animated 3D Model
Konečný, Kamil ; Najman, Pavel (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This  thesis  deals  with  production  of  three-dimensional  animated  model. Thesis is about model of billiard table and visualization of balls motion on its surface. Using simulation methods to solve the problem of balls motion is the goal of this work. This thesis contains summary of physical phenomena which describe the ball motion. There are also animation and simulation techniques which are used to create a model involved in this work. This thesis also deals with description of software, which can be used to create a three-dimensional model, animation and define user interaction. The second part of thesis describes how simulation program and visualization application was made. In the end, there are charts which describe ball behaviour involved in this work.
Virtual Keyboard Using Leap Motion
Mejía, Santiago ; Zahrádka, Jiří (referee) ; Najman, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with finding the most suitable method for text entry using the Leap Motion sensor. The test environment serves to try out different methods. The test environment contains two methods for text entry using the Leap Motion sensor and one solution using the mouse, which is used for comparison. A sample text is used for verification. After the test is done the test environment evaluates it and saves the results. The tests have confirmed, that both used methods after proper training are suitable for text entry.
Projected User Interface - Dungeons & Dragons
Dymáček, Petr ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Najman, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the using of an interactive table for playing Dungeons & Dragons board game. Application, that was made, is controlled by touch screen and gestures. The gestures are detected from depth data captured by Kinect. The work solves calibrations of input devices and the design of the user interface appropriate for the application.
Convolutional Neural Networks for Emotion Recognition
Jileček, Jan ; Najman, Pavel (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
Convolutional neural networks are used for various tasks, but foremost in machine learning, in which they excel. This work is going to introduce some existing frameworks, other algorithms for recognition and then we describe the training dataset creation and the model for emotion recognition training process. Mentioned model has accuracy of 60%. It is used for emotion statistics retrieval from movie trailers. Model for genre recognition is created from those statistics and then finally used in our application for genre recognition of the input trailer, with best accuracy of 47%.
Board Games on Interactive Table
Svoboda, Petr ; Najman, Pavel (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the application of the tangible user interface and spatial augmented reality principals for playing board games. For this purpose, a system called interactive table was developed. It is both hardware and software solution. The hardware part solves the installation of a depth camera and a projector located above the table. The software solution deals with calibration of the depth camera and projector system using known procedures for camera calibration on the one hand, on the other hand it solves tasks from the field of computer vision. This perceptional part is the core of the whole thesis and for the purposes of playing board games it provides information about the location of the physical game object, physical game board and the calculations of mask for masking distracting objects. An educational application was developed for the purposes of demonstration of the system options. The interactive table offers new possibilities for playing board games in a real-world environment by the combination of the augmented reality elements with real-world objects and the related new user experience.
Game Interface with Data Projector and Leap Motion
Holcner, Jonáš ; Najman, Pavel (referee) ; Zahrádka, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this paper is to develop a gaming user interface and a game itself using potential of the Leap Motion Controller in combination with projected image of a projector. This interface requires a projector calibration for user to be able to interact with the image. The calibration enables translation of points between coordinate spaces of Leap Motion and projector. Combined with data from Leap Motion, this allows user to interact with applications and games only by hands within the projected image. The solution contains a projector and a Leap Motion located over a table looking at the table desk. Leap Motion is used to track hand motions above the table. The capabilities of the proposed interface are demonstrated on a computer game, which was developed in Unity 3D engine.
